Love the sinner, hate the sin. Respect your parents but not abuse.

I wish i could but its either be homeless or be locked up in a state insitution for decades.

Suggestion. Get a job, save money, and get out of this messed up situation.

I am not allowed to save money or get a job that will pay my bills because of the program regulations.

What kind of education do you have?

an associates, a bachelor's, one masters in a religious field, and two doctorates in religious fields.

So you have several advanced degrees and lots of money, but you're still controlled by your parents? It doesn't add up. Even if you have some legal restrictions based on your autism, if you have a reasonable case, I'm sure you could find a lawyer to contest them in exchange for some of that money.

well my parents control all the money due to the legal restrictions.I would have to get off benefits to get control of my money and I would quickly run out of money if i did that due to healthcare.

Health care for what?

well i doubt that will happen because they set up a trust fund with millions in it for me that will be given to me when they die and that trust will provide a good standard of living and I would be a trust fund baby.

Right my parents have to manage my bank account due to government policy on this program.Having my own bank account would not help me save for an apartment or anything because I am forbidden to save money by the Federal Government because I am on that program from the government and I am pretty much stuck on that program. Its because I can only have a very small amount of money to my name at all times and Representative Payee program for Social Securitymy parents get the checks and i dont and they have forbidden me from using that money on dating sites.

Can’t you go to a shelter? What the hell type of program is that? Pre holocaust ghetto Nuremberg laws?

The program is a type of Social Security.

This sounds like the representative payee program. http://www.ssa.gov/payee/

ya I believe it may be the representative payee program.

Ok then got to ride it out until then. It sucks to be an autistic under the boot of NTs but you can't risk that money so don't antagonize them.

Sounds like a frustrating situation.

If you're prepared to wait it out, more power to you.

Depending on how old your parents are, you could easily be waiting until your 60's.

I believe that with your education, you might have some options. Do you not have a university near where you live that you could contact? I would think that you could apply for a lecturing job there if you give them your CV showing your qualifications and if they accept you, then you could get off that benefits program to earn a salary from them in addition to your job as a part-time pastor. Once you earn your own money, your parents cannot legally tell you what to do with it.

Per the program rules I am on I can only work part-time so as long I am on the program I will never be able to provide for my own needs from a job. A local company owner told I would need to make at least 100,000 a year to get off that program from my job.I see my counselor tomorrow so I will see what she says about dating. My parents are legally entitled to all control and power over my money as long as I am on that program and I am stuck on that program.

If you are not allowed to get married within your church & you are very serious about wanting to be a pastor despite that, I would suggest giving up the idea of dating.

I looked it up, you could potentially earn more than that as an experienced lecturer and the average salary is above $60000 per year.

Okay, so the program rules say that you're only allowed to work part-time to qualify for the program, so what is the worst that could happen if you find a job anyway? Surely, the worst that could happen is that the government finds that you no longer qualify for the program and takes you off of it? I would still recommend that you try it anyway regardless of what the program rules say.

I am on the program because of my healthcare needs so the worst that could happen would be I lose my coverage rack up a lot of medical debt and cant go on the program again and go bankrupt.I think I just want to work part time and see if it can eventually lead to a full-time position but ideally I would be working full-time but I dont see how I will ever be able to make 6 figures at a job and get off that requirement.

Yes I am aware that in Catholic church the priests and nuns have to be celibate but its way different in the church of Christ.church of Christ Pastors are allowed to get married and have families and I would say most of them are married and have families.Church of Christ deacons and elders are required to be married and have children but the pastor does not have that requirement,Nick007.

When I was employed I worked quite a lot of overtime when my jobs allowed me to & I stayed in the SSI program because I still had my disabilities. My SSI got reduced by one dollar for every two I made before taxes. When I made too much for a few months straight to get SSI, I qualified for some SSI money again after my income went back down. I qualified for Louisiana Medicaid 1ce I started getting SSI & I kept my Medicaid when I was working a lot of overtime because I was still in the SSI program. I never had a payee but I assume things woulda worked the same way if I did except they woulda got my SSI money instead of me.
