This thread is full of so many assumptions and stereotypes, it's crazy. None of the Asian girls I know personally would be comfortable with a guy who sits around and analyzes their race so much. It's like an obsession/fetish and dehumanizing. However, most of the people I know are mostly recent immigrants or, like me, did not become very Westernized. I do know there are American born Asians who are culturally like every other American, though. The only Asian thing about them is their genes.

If you like Asian girls solely for looks then you'd probably have a better chance with a girl who was born in the same county as you.

I remember watching the Korean drama My Lovely Sam-Soon back when the AZN Channel was still around, and it was kinda hilarious to me. Sam-Soon was "fat" (aka not fat at all) and "old" (like 28 or 30 or something.) WTF cultural standards... That said, I'd rather nobody eats Big Macs too often.

Koreans tend to like expensive cars like Mercedes or BMW. You rarely see Koreans driving in Hyundais for instance. I don't care for those high end cars at all. I have a cousin in Korea for instance that has like a $200,000 car! Not for me. I'm happy with my under $20,000 car.

American soldiers these days must be rather lonely compared to a generation ago in Korea. No way that a soldier is going to be able to afford a Korean woman if they have such high demands these days.

Korean students are all about studying studying to get into top colleges. I do know that if that child doesn't get into that top college they get very depressed and try suicide. I do recall seeing on the local news while living in Korea about some high school senior who didn't get into a top college and jumped to his or her death. It's stupid and sad.

Korean students used to be more about going out, having a good time, and attending protest rallies.

Once I told some of my cousins on mom's side about my ex boyfriend, they kinda gave me this look like ugh. His parents are divorced.

But, now you are in your thirties. By that age, a man is generally entrenched in his career, building his own life, etc. His childhood circumstances should no longer be relevant.

You can't get the cheap counterfeit knockoffs in Korea any more? Yes: even Korean brands like Samsung are twice the price in Korea as in the USA. And, I would rather they didn't take up eating our fast food.

Oh yes about Pitbull. I'm not quite attracted to Hispanic men. No offense to any Hispanic men on here. But why do they stare at women? Hispanics in my housing area for instance do yard work or types of home remodeling and they just stare at me as I either do my run or walk my dog. They don't say anything to me just but stare and sometimes smile. None of them have appealed to me.

I don't know. They probably don't mean any harm.

But when I saw Pitbull's photo I was like oh my gawd! He's so hot! For a man who's got no hair or somewhat, he is just dreamy! I wish I was in his videos but I would not want to dress like those bimbos. What a difference between the woman in Misery by Maroon 5 and Pitbull's videos. The women can still be pretty but don't need to shake their booty and show their half naked body. It's porn! :?

À chacun son goût, I suppose.

If you marry a Korean, then you would be expected to move into his house, take care of his parents, and be bossed around by your mother-in-law, wouldn't you?

If I were to marry a Korean who lives in Korea, yes most likely I would have to move in with him at his parents house and wear hangbok and learn to cook for the family. Yep and be bossed by the mother in law. But I married a Korean here in the US it would be different. For instance I know someone who got married to a Korean guy, but she didn't need to move in to his parents house. I don't like that type of culture. I call it being a slave to the mother in law, but that's just me. I just never found Asian men to be worth dating. I don't know why. There are plenty of Korean male singers that can dance very well and the women go crazy, but not me.

There is also 200 Pounds Beauty, which you can watch in full on YouTube

It is about a fat girl who can sing, but stands behind the stage while the less-chubby one lipsynchs on stage.

She may have enjoyed a few too many Big Macs.

I wonder if that partly explains why so many Korean ladies were so quick to marry American soldiers?

I don't think anyone would expect you to wear hanbok at home these days. Most Korean guys wouldn't even want a wife that does that. I'm not trying to change your mind; just trying to stop this outdated view of Asians.

It's like how in other countries, people think all Americans are rich and have blond hair.

On the plus side: someday, you would have a big say in your son's selection of a wife, and then you would have your own daughter-in-law to boss around.

It is the most girly song in the entire world. And I love it.

And Psy at least seems better than LMFAO. I don't like most Korean music I've heard. It sounds too much like American pop just sung in Korean. It doesn't have much of a real identity like I feel Japanese pop does. Also, I can understand usually 10%? or so of what's going on in a Japanese song, and zero percent as I know no Korean at all. On the flipside, Korean pop has done well in the whole world and J-Pop hasn't.

And I don't like Pitbull as all he does is rap gibberish over otherwise nice songs. He just grabs a song and is like "man, this song is so cool, BUT IT'D BE EVEN COOLER IF I TALKED OVER IT AND SAID "HEY SEXY MAMA" A BUNCH OF TIMES, YEAH!"

Not my kind of music, but I'll give them points for being cute and sexy without being skanky.

Well, I like cute little bottoms, and I'm perfectly fine with small titties.

That´s fine, but it´s not more feminine :)

^^ and I believe this all goes down to...again.... humans proven to be apes again: looks.

Masculine features vs Feminine features .

- Asian girls have "typical feminine" physical features: short height, the softness of skin, the eyes, ..etc/ while their men have the same features making them look "less masculine".

Africans have the opposite case of Asians.

Lol. This is the biggest load of crap I ever heard. There is no source that shows Asians have softer skin, or have more feminine eyes. In fact, Asian women have relatively small eyes. Bigger eyes are proven to be related to more estrogen. All this has to do with prejudice and racial bias. Asian women are seen as submissive, cute and sweet. The 'feminine' qualities in looks that they do posses (Full lips, round face, small chin) are 'enlarged' in peoples perception and now people say they look more 'feminine' than any other race. Which is completely untrue. Asians have softer hair? Not in my experience. White women have far softer, flowier hair. You could also say that Asians have the flattest ass, smallest tits and are therefore less feminine. Thinner is not more feminine, at all.

lol...Café...
You've missed the " " for "typical feminine" since I am talking on people perception basis, not being scientific. The " " were put there to indicate that it's not really true.

As for the eyes, I meant the shape, not their size.

This is my hypothesis why Caucasian men are so crazy about them.

Personally I find Asian women have a bit more ....child-like physical features but that's just me, I might mistake a typical 20 years old Asian woman for being 15-16; but they have the advantage of looking younger in 30s. However, many men perceive them as more feminine.

And I don't think they see them more feminine because they perceive them as submissive and sweet but mainly because of their looks, Sri Lankan women are raised to be submissive too but you don't see Caucasian men liking them. Every time a such forum debate arises you see men posting pictures of beautiful Asian women, this is all how they think of "Asian women".
