As long as you've got an internet connection and a decent computer being a hermit is okay :p

internet is spotty [I live out in the sticks miles from a trunk line] and puter is ancient] but I make do :alien: silicone analogs and porn are lifesavers

That doesn't sound like the PG-13 I'm used to from you-- someone must have eaten their Wheaties today!

daily supplements of DHEA, Maca, concentrated Saponins of Fenugreek, L-Citruline, Pycnogenol help me out in that respect :)

to make life bearable, one has to first be able to be one's own best friend. :flower:

This may be a bit of a cliché, but it really is true. I didn't learn how to really enjoy my life until I learned to accept and love myself and to take care of myself the way I would want someone who loved me to take care of me. It took me a long time because my parents didn't do the best job of teaching me how to care about and value myself, but once I learned it's something I now have that no one can ever take away from me.

AHAHHAHHAHAHA!! !! !

I do see a surprising amount of parallels between the two!

Sly talks of having a high failure rate with women, women treating him poorly, women considering him 'childish', and failure in job and life.

Slw talks of having a high failure rate with men, men treating her poorly, men being condescending towards her and treating her like a child, not sure how she's doing in career though.

I just worry because I've done it before by accident and it has also happened to me.

Wear Short Skirts.

It works!

This is oversimplified, idiotic, and not helpful advice. All this would do is attract the wrong sort of guy.

Even if it attracts the wrong sort of guys, getting attention from men for a person like slw1990 that is positive will really boost her self-esteem by making her feel more attractive. It IS a start. Men are primarily visual creatures and what grabs our attention is someone we think looks good.

The self-esteem advice is useful but making improvements to yourself, no matter how small, is a Great way to start working on your self-esteem. Accept the thing you *cannot change*, but take the initiative to change the things you can. Like your wardrobe.

Flowey is really unique character if you look him up. (why am I talking about this here?)

~context shift~

@AR15000

That could also be a way to make her feel even more mistreated if it gathers the wrong kind of attention. At the same time it might not, idk it's all subjective. And changing your wardrobe even a little can make you feel more confidant. That's not me agreeing with "wear miniskirts to get attention", I don't really don't have much of an opinion on that.

I bet the guys of her species really like her, though.

I got that kind of attention from some of the guys that I had met on dating sites and it mostly just makes me feel uncomfortable. If I attract the wrong kind of guys then it wouldn't really help with attracting the kind of guys that I like either. I made posts about it on this thread, but I guess they got buried.
