Whelp you've won my heart . That was actually on my really old checklist from a few years ago, know the song "Wish You Were Here".

I dig my toes into the sand.
The ocean looks like a thousand diamonds strewn across a blue blanket.
I lean against the wind, pretend that i am weightless and in this moment i am happy.

I lay my head onto the sand.
The sky resembles a backlit canopy with holes punched in it.
I'm counting ufo's.
I signal them with my lighter
and in this moment i am happy, happy.

The world's a roller coaster and I am not strapped in.

I still like him, but I don't get upset as much as I used to for not being able to interact with him properly. Getting his number helped a lot (but alas it wasn't obtained in a dating context). However I still can't bring myself to ask more of him or give him obvious signs that I'm interested in him. Like for example, asking him if he wants to have lunch or meet up.

I texted him a lot over the holidays, like a few times a day. I couldn't tell whether it annoyed him or not. Things seem the same as they always do now we're back at work. It's like we never talk outside of work when we're there, it's really weird. He doesn't acknowledge it in person, doesn't refer to the fact we text in office conversation, never verbally mentions anything either of us said in texts. Does he not want people to know that we talk?

We DID end up going on that drinks date to the golf club before xmas and he just talked non-stop the whole time, the guy had a proper phobia of gaps in conversation! Was it a sign he was comfortable or UNcomfortable with me?

Thanks for getting me out of a situation that could have been a lot worse. I am a happier person because of it, and now our marriage has grown stronger. I am very grateful for that.

Goes to school 7.5 hours away but is from some town only 1 hour away. Darn.

I know you're going through a hard time right now, but I want you to know that I'll always be there for you no matter what. Don't worry. Things will get better soon.

That was a lovely dinner date we had tonight. I love when we go out.
