This is utter nonsense.

Take a look at this list of men on People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive." At LEAST 10 of them are over 40, and of those Most of them are in their 50's!

https://www.thewrap.com/people-sexiest- ... 0in%201997.

40 years of age is not an expiry date for attraction. That's complete bs. In general, besides having $ (which helps but is NOT a requirement) these guys are all in fairly fit physical shape, happy, and healthy - those are attractive traits. Work on yourself and your health to improve your ability to attract women. It really is as simple as that.

I noticed that men can age into their looks better than women broadly speaking (yeah I know I just said that, but it appears to be the case before anyone asks)

I noticed that I appeared to have aged better over the years. My face has gone from rounder and olived shaped to more pronounced in the chin bones and square. Shame I don't have the body to go with it.

Take note of the happiness part of what goldfish said. You have a bit of a history of depressive, self defeating posts. Like others have said, you have a masters. That's more than what I have and more than what most NT's have. If you combine it with optimistic outlook then eventually you might get noticed by women.

Even today I just had a knock back with another rejection but I know attempting to be cheerful (as hard as it is for me sometimes) gives off at least something of a good aura.

But most men don't seem to use anti-aging products, so can they really look better than women therefore as they age?

Celebrities in People magazine is hardly representative of everyday realities.
Gay relationships dynamics I suspect are somewhat different to Straight.
Yes, I'm sure men don't buy those " anti aging" skin products in anything like the same numbers as women.
No, I'm not sure Dorkseid realizes his attitude is the problem.

His attitude is not the problem.

His attitude is the consequence byproduct of a 40 years problem.

Some criminals are even more successful than many of us in dating.

I noticed that people magazine named Trump the sexiest man alive in 2020 but do a lot of women find a guy like that sexually attractive?

how many lonely unwanted women decide to end it all, compared to men?

Mu understanding (and I'm no expert) is that women attempt suicide more often but usually don't go through with it. I think men commit suicide over girls/employment whereas for women it's depression over how they look or how they are treated by their female peers.

so there aren't enough unwanted women to figure in these stats then.

The problem is that many single women don't want a relationship unless the man ticks boxes.

Do you seriously think that celebrities on sexiest man alive lists are in any way representative of average men?

Yes, these men all have a lot of money. They are physically fit and healthy, especially over 50, because their aforementioned wealth affords them personal trainers and neutritionists and the best doctors on call. And of course they're happy because they rich and famous and getting voted sexiest man alive.

And you still don't seem to understand what I'm saying. I am quite aware that men in their 40s don't have any trouble dating. My problem is that I missed out on dating and having sex with young women when I was young, and even if I meet someone now we will both be old and it won't be the same. I don't mind growing old with someone, but I've already missed out on ever dating anyone under 40.

Can you just try to look forward to the future and try to want to date and have sex with someone at your age now, rather than thinking missing out before was a problem?

Women my age have 18-year-old children. They've already had all the kids they want and will not have any with me, and those kids are grown and ill never know them as children. They have been living with the responsibility of being a parents for half their lives. They have been through marriage and divorce and have many years of relationship experience. I'm a 40-year-old virgin man child that likes comic books and action figures. I have nothing in common with such women. While the women I do have things in common with are 15 years younger than me.

The research I've found on age gap relationships is rather grim.
