No, Germans and Brits can't understand each other at all. They haven't been able to understand each other for about a 1000 years. You know English, just listen to some German and find out. I recommend Rammstein.
There are some simple words, which are used at high frequency, that are similar. Things like apple (German Apfel, Dutch appel, father (G: Vater, D: vader. But without instruction these people can't understand each other at all. Try to read Old English, that is closer to German but even English speakers can't read that anymore, and this is only some 900 years ago. Beowulf is a good example, no one today can read that without instruction, here is the first verse:

But even within the languages there are major differences, Dutch is only spoken in a fairly small area but there are many people that I can't understand AT ALL. These people are often subtitled on tv because anyone not from their region can't understand them.

Then he gave up, focused on the things he liked, hobbies etc, and suddenly women found him more interesting. Neediness is apparently repellent for the females, so if you can somehow muster the strength to be content even without them, acting nonchalant, (since they can smell neediness from miles away) being just happy with who you are, and what makes you happy, maybe it would work for you too, maybe suddenly by the odd laws of this universe, you would attract some. Detachment is the key, I think.

clingy and needy in the sense I don't want to go weeks without talking to my gf. I fear being clingy but also as much as I fear I'll seem to distant or not interested. funny how its normal for a woman to require daily communication of some kind but clingy if a guy wants the same.
if I could be happy alone then when a woman did come I'd just tell her to F**k off. women and relationships seem farr to horrible to both with if you don't' desire the companionship. relationships are a getting enjoyment and emotional closeness to a woman/man. if one doesn't need that then there's no point. shaving , video games and shooting guns isn't going make me more interested to women. also how do hobbies make anyone more interested unless you go around bragging about them all the time no one would know you do them. I have a bunch of hobbies and I do them but It still leaves 90% of my life wide open. and even if i worked I'd still be alone ever freaking night in my big bed to cry myself to sleep.
yep if i ever do get a gf I know I have to keep distant from her and ignore her a lot and never say I love her.

I do wonder if its my and other guys fault. i mean she was on here before I joined. though she said she was nt and she seemed to have it out for aspie men due to her ex. but was she always like that. suppose boo would know , he seems to have been here a long time. I kinda feel bad I just want her to leave me alone. I wish people could just get along without having to hurt each other.
yeah its part of what sucks. I don't seem to have much in common with other aspies except I guess dox somewhat. I don't know that most aspie women would like my hobbies though one seemed ok with them. I do enjoy my hobbies though. shouldnt' hobbies be something one does for enjoyment not to meet women? I think so. just means the whole meet someone though hobbies won't' work for me. though there are tons of women who play video games. only way you know is if they list it on their dating profile. youd never know meeting in person. women into my hobbies minus shaving in relationships early and fast. cause just about every guy into my stuff wants a nerdy woman into male hobbies. to some just liking guns would be enough for them to date her.

if we had some tighter registration protocol, I guess she would would be stopped from registering here, but the way things are now, I'm afraid we can just ban her repeatedly. I don't think her ex gives her any right to treat you and the others like she does.

its hard being a social aspie.
problem is I can't give up. I have determination. or persistence whichever it is. however if I had not have it I'd likely be dead already. that said the never give up drive I have is also super depressing. it would be simpler to just give up trying to find work or a gf, give up on life. accept what reality is. but I can't . the same thing that prevents me from dying also prevents me from accepting being alone forever.
think their standards wouldn't hurt me as much if it was almost every woman saying it. if 90% of the world said the color blue was evil tomorrow it'd be hard not to feel bad wearing your blue shirt no? especially if everywhere you went people commenting about you wearing the evil color.
what is wrong with depending on others? its why we have civilizations. cause humans can't exist in single units. i doubt I'll ever be truly happy. that piece is always missing I'll never be held or hugged or cuddled. never have someone to share my day with or go camping with. or any other activity. if i wasn't a social aspie this would be fine so many aspies are fine and happy alone and prefer no social interaction I fall on the other end though same with sex

Still even if 90% of females or any population say blue is evil, it doesn't necessarily mean they're right....people used to massively think some things are true, which later have been proved as wrong. Earth in the centre of the universe, thunders are bad omens and punishments, things like that.
I guess i just don't like to condone to popular opinion, especially since it's more often wrong than not, and people hide behind numbers in order to avoid their personal responsibility.
I don't see anything wrong either in needing some company, but unfortunately sometimes it leads us nowhere except to heartache. :/

I'm watching some more videos of the Arabic teacher Maha, walla! Most Arabic speakers here are Moroccan and they use walla so much it has become a stereotype
She has videos with a whole lot of languages, she also has one explaining Italian (it's in Arabic, so I only understand some of the Italian). Arabic grammar seems pretty difficult though,it's as if someone looked at the Czech language with seven cases and thought "let's make this even harder".
At least Glorious Czech language has no definite or indefinite articles. Still the hardest language of Europe I think, or maybe Finnish has that honor.

Finnish, or even Hungarian, definitely! Czech is still an IE language, Finnish with its 15 cases and countless agglutinative suffixes takes the title I think 
although as far as pronunciation goes, Czech is one of the most tongue twisting ones.
