Lol. From what you've told me and your posts I've read, newchum, you and I are not alike in any regard. I have good social skills, good verbal intonation, am athletic and have no trouble making friends. I like driving fast, drinking alcohol and various disinhibitors, and do the club/pub circuit.
Unfortunately, I can only do most of this when I am with my brothers. Around others, I'm aloof, untalkative and unresponsive, and prone to aggressiveness. With my family, I'm a different person.

As for likes in girls...
What is intelligent, anyway? Most people fall into the same range anyway. How often would you want to sit discussing philosophies and sciences with someone, anyway? It'd get pretty damn boring.
Sports make a good exercise, and a good topic. Join a club, and while playing, you can socialize and make friends, based around a similar interest. In addition, they keep you fit.
As for intimacy of any physical proximity, ugh. Its so disgusting! Kissing? No way. Sex? Impossible. The one thing I'm very strict about, no compromises, is no contact with stuff. You know what stuff I'm talking about. Saliva, blood, nail clippings, hair, skin, smells, fat people, skinny people, birth marks, sick people, old people, wrinkles, moles, anything that I consider disgusting. Generally I don't get close enough, physically, for those to be a problem, so its only personal maintainence things that set me off, like brushing hair, washing teeth, going to the toilet etc. There's hundreds of things that people must not do or look like, or I have big problems being anywhere near them. Any sort of intimacy, would trigger many of those things.

Its weird, come to think of it, that I have so many friends who don't set them off. But then, most of my friends are physically pretty good, and I generally keep away from them when they're doing all those little maintainence things that are generally the main trigger.

Seeing as how I'm rather new at this, and I don't seem to have done it properly, I issue the following replacement post:

My name is Stewart Haggin, I'm white, 15-yrs.-old. I seek a girl of similar age within the Irvine, California area, any race or religion, but you must be a deep thinker. The kind who can stay in one place, lost in thought, for 15 minutes or more. A moderate level of arrogance requested, to keep mine in check, but not an excessive level. The idiotic will not be tolerated. Must show a moderate level of disdain for humanity. Those of blond hair are fine, those of blond mind are not. Ditzes need not reply.

No offense, but, why the heck do you even want a girlfriend? Without intimacy it's called friendship.

I'm not sure what my name is but we'll go with what my mother named me and what my friends call me. I'm Nathan Hamilton, and I've gone by Maxx for about 10 years.

I'm a curious individual who has often been defined as arrogant, crazy, and comical. I've been around this world for about 19 years, but I feel substantially older and I have no clue why. I am visible on myspace if you have an account, otherwise, you just get to see Gigers artwork. www.myspace.com/graydiamond
I'm not sure what I'm looking for in a companion anymore these days. I'd prefer someone of similar interests who has an analytical mind or at least understands the basis of a semi-paranoid individual.

I'll exit by quoting Starship Troopers: Would you like to know more?

Having a girlfriend or SO isn't all about sex or physical intimacy, lowfreq. Being "friends" isn't the same thing, as a intimate relationship without physical intimacy, either. If you can't grasp what I talk about, then you're missing out in any relationship you have.

Mahalo guys,
My name is Skyler D'angelo and my friend told me about this site, and I spent a few days just reading and I liked it. So I decided to join. I am 23 yrs. old and I am Italian and Hawaiian and Australian. I am originally from California, but I moved to the east coast for a job. I went to Penn State and hated school. I am now a writer for Comedy Central in NY but I live in MD. I am looking for a sweet girl that I can spoil, I am Italain, so I do spoil the women in my life. I love sports but also like just curling up and watching movies, I LOVE MOVIES. Anyway if u are intrested, let me know and email me if u have any questions.

Skyler, sorry to bust your bubble, you wannabe-Aussie. Being an Australian is more than being the child of an Australian. You gotta grow up in the Australian culture, mate.

"Missing out" is relative to one's expectations.

There has to be a boundary between friends and relationships.

But further discussion in this thread is hi-jacking, so I'm done.

BTW -- Skyler was just naming his origins. Your "wanna be" remark was totally uncalled for . . . he was not even bragging about having some Australian roots. In other words, he wasn't expressing a desire to be something he's not, therefore he is not a "wanna be."

Chill, lowfreq. Sheesh! Are you TRYING to take things seriously? I see you're obviously not an aussie, lowfreq. My mates have no problems understanding my humor, but you AS, jeez. Not everything is said to be mean.
If you can learn how to use humor, you'd have no problems with girls or making friends. I read someone's post today, about acting goofy to create humor, and how it worked for them. The wrong way to create humor, sure, but the right idea. I assure you, go work where people deal with death on a daily basis, you'll pick up humor pretty quick.

I've been looking for a compatable mate for some time now, but to no true avail. My interests include writing poetry and short stories, working with computers, and collecting pictures of certain things on my computer. I have literally thousands of pictures downloaded... the process shall never stop. There is a soulmate for me out there somewhere. and there is one out there for you, too.

Steven. What is your e-mail address?

If you think you are my soulmate, I deeply encourage you to send a messege to me. Thanks.
