I’m not being sarcastic. The world is a cruel and unfair place.

I consider myself rather "high-functioning"---and I'm not some genius.

I'm a lifelong clerk working for the civil service.

No laundry lines?

Bonkers.

So glad I don't live in America. Weird culture. :P

This is your typical average New Zealand back yard. https://bebetoocool.files.wordpress.com ... ealand.jpg

Rich people still have washing lines, they just look nicer.

I heard about an American who still liked to dry his clothes on the washing line. The neighbourhood association made him take it down. They said it was unsightly. Even though it was in his backyard. Even though he owned the land. They said he should be using a dryer. Seems very environmentally unfriendly, using the electricity hogging drier on a sunny day.

That's an understatement! I would love to believe I was a horrible person in a past life who deserved all the crap I've had to deal with: it would make it a lot easier to deal rather than believing a good chunk of people are sociopaths.

Sly, here's a few steps that might open a pathway to change in your failure to find happier outcomes in your search for a relationship and happier life:

1. Get a pen and piece of paper
2. Go through all your posts on WP and write down every reason you have given for search failure from the start
3. Save some money
4. Take the list to a counsellor
5. Ask for help to identify what you need to change, admit you are stuck
6. Listen and learn some new perspectives, take independent advice on board.
7. Use professional support to implement changes in your way of thinking and approach to love and dating
8. Give it time, learning new behaviours is not going to result from one or two visits.

The government would pay for a counselor for me. But they never help. First one told me to just get sunshine, second one pushed me to find work and acted more like a job developer along with trying to get rid of me.

I know what prevents me from getting a date, built they aren’t things I can change.

Then I suggest you give up. I am assuming then that you tried the listing technique and it didn't work, and you don't see anything about yourself, behaviour, attitude or personality that is in your power to change, so you may be right in that there is no hope unless you can empower yourself in some way to learn something new that will be helpful.

Mid changing stuff. I’m on a stupid diet and going to the gym.
It I can’t make up for lack of income, car and appartment. And that stuff is out of reach for people permanently on disability. So unless I get lucky and one day some aspie female who lives in my town and has similar interests, who finds me attractive despite me being hideous, joins here and happens to be single like nick007s case i dont know what to do besides keep trying, but I won’t stop venting here otherwise I’ll get super depressed and go crazy, I have no one else to talk to but here. My last friend moved away without telling me. I’m all alone now.

What can you expect from someone who thinks evolution is a "religion" and doesn't realize the theory doesn't stop at On The Origin of Species?

this,
actually creationism found financing to go global, schoolbooks (UK), very welcomed in islamist regions, ummm under-develloped & religious, of all sorts, cultures
more actually, this has profitted so much from internet, the obscurantist-library of all fundamentalisms
