Perhaps PM Merle about it?

I did. Thanks anyways.

Yeah, I just had one of my famous bouts of 'reading things that aren't actually there'.

There probably would have been something there if I wasn't aspie.

You can't tell how good an actor someone is by looking at their picture.
Hate to break it to you but acting ability does not get you cast.

What I mean is the first thing they look for at auditions and also online is what you look like. They have set sterio types or builds they want to fit for the characters and look acordingly. I get cast as a geek a lot  but soon as I bulk up I am going to be taking topless pics again and hopfully break out of the mold. I am so so sick of being cast as a geek. It is hard for an arrogant guy like me who plays sports drinks beer and spends more time outside than online to play the passive geeky guy without feeling the need to step up and over act. But I play a damn good geek and you have to start somewhere and in the horror movies the geek is usually one of the last ones killed. Sometimes not even killed. As an actor this typically means more lines which usually means more pay and also more air time. So it is kind of a win win lose lose take it or leave it pay's for the booze kind of thing ;)

Besides girls love the geeks these days. Thank you Zach Braff 8)

Though your comment made me smile! Thanks! :)

If you are using firefox a surer way to get a valid address of your picture is to right click on the photo when viewing and select "copy image location". Then you can paste that in the tags.

Personally I find you more attractive than magnus, then again I have weird tastes. I quite like short hair on women, tendency toward darker (although more open-minded about that these days), and womanly features rather than girly or baby faced (which according to some research is not the norm). I go for interesting natural features and. What is often considered a perfect beauty I don't find attractive at all. Not because they are ugly but more there is less visually there. I guess it is the "uncanny valley" effect.

Thanks! :) Well at least that made me install firefox finally! :) I know, shocking!

You are very kind - I will accept your compliment gracefully! But then again, weird tastes! :) Do I look that weird? :) I am just messing. :) No seriously thanks! I quite like different looking people myself - Ok I am bullshi**ing - I can never predict what type of person (even just in looks) I would find attractive! It is a strange thing attraction - I think one can never really predict our reactions to people and vice versa which makes it so much fun!

The girl above is really pretty but I don't know her. Zane mentioned Zach Braff who is in my opinion the hottest guy in Hollywood. :nerdy:  :bounce:

Since Zonder made up the M.A.F.I.A on the hot guy thread for my favorite men, I have to include some of my favorite hot aspie women.
Miss Construe, Anna Banana, LKL and Shiggily are some of my favs because of their hard nosed intellectualism. Although Miss Construe seems to be more of a softie, she is the sweetest I've butted heads with so far. Aspie women are hot! The OP just doesn't see the beauty in honesty and innocence.

MelDaGeek are you Greek perchance? You actually remind me a little of a Greek friend I had called Mary. Anyway, I love the planes and angles of your face, very photogenic.

Really? xD Yes, I am.

Are we all aware that Daryl Hannah has been out for awhile as an aspie? The mermaid in Splash and eyepatch lady in Kill Bill?

And we know for real what she looks like, because we saw her model face and mile long legs captured in film, rather than through a heavily angled/airbrushed headshot?

/thread?

(I also disapprove of this "Rate me! I'm the hottest!" thread. This is the kind of thing you see on junk forums. We already have a sticky for members' photos, and it seemed more like there people posted better representations of themselves to feel more like a part of the WP community. Also, 9/10 you can't tell what a girl looks like in real life from a picture she posts in a "how hot am I?" thread. It's daunting, and makes people more likely to post misleading images.)

That's just it though, I'm really not sure anyone's taking it that seriously who's involved (speaking from the other of course). It may have hit you wrong but know that if it were really on that particular paradigm you'd see people acting really catty through this thread and if anything I'm seeing a lot of humility, mutual support, even self-deprecating humor from those who know what they have - hardly an ego-battle at all.

If anyone dislikes this thread for some reason then just don't post in it.

Funny that no other lady or guy called the other thread as "junk" or "immoral".

Find the word "immoral" in my post. And yeah, there was one dude who voiced his objections, but he was jumped on by the newbies with nearly 1000 posts this month.

And that's a nice sentiment, but it's been in the top of this subforum for like a month now, so it's not like i need to search for it. And I think it's funny that people who voiced that sentiment in this thread (not LPP here) of "if you don't like it leave" jump to other subforums and feel entitled to bash the feel of the community that's been established there for some time. This thread is a new tone to this subforum, and if I think it's negative there's no problem with me voicing that opinion. If you disagree, you're welcome to tell me why.

Tech, I don't see the entire thread as being the way I described- but a lot of it is. And some of the self-deprecatiing statements are female ploys for compliments. Understandable behavior, but not commendable.

Lets stop the food-fight before it turns into the kind of brawl that generates 5 or 6 pages of bad soap-opera drama to follow.
