Erisad, how accurate this photo of yours?

I took it on my phone and uploaded it. No photoshop or anything. Why? >.>

Your face is extremely baby face - not so good for the world of dating. Women and men might find Babyfaces as cute but that's all.

Actually I tend to be a bit more attracted to girls with 'babyfaces' or cute faces, more than I would be to women who are more 'mature' looking or who the norm would consider to be 'sexy'...

Wow, this thread moved at lightning speed.

I'm probably not saying anything that hasn't been said already but I'll still throw my two cents in the ring. Both genders typically have certain repulsions that they really can't do much about, it differs from individual to individual. People of course can get all kinds of unequal treatment as I'm sure there are girls out there who, with a bit of weight will get dates but losing it will get overlooked, some guys who similarly might be in great shape or doing financially great but there's still a lot about them that doesn't work. What sucks is that men, women, what we have in that regard is very difficult to control. While its great to know that the world isn't deliberately conspiring against us is comforting (perhaps the human genome but no one in particular), its a lot more frustrating to realize that there is little stable rhyme or reason and it can all come down to facial features, mannerisms, how the two line up, whether size will matter or not typically seems to matter more on how spry a girl is, I've seen very overweight guys with attractive women and it seems to work the same way.

Generally speaking though guys do have a harder time being attracted to heavy women, its not necessarily a deal breaker but its definitely a narrowing factor, as in she'd have to be even that much better of a match for him to overlook it. As a guy with AS at least I can tell you that I can probably do absolutely anything for myself, have been in the process of doing just that for years, and it seems like ultimately my mannerisms betray almost all of my due diligence into self improvement, even at 30. The dating scene is a caustic world unfortunately, especially saddening too when you'll find people that you wish you could be into but can't. All the same though I wish you the best of luck!

Erisad, I just wanted to tell you not to ever lose hope in finding happiness with the right man who will love and accept you just for who you are. You are a beautiful woman inside and out. Don't ever let any common @ss fool try to convince you otherwise. I wish you all the best. :flower:  :flower:

Thanks Taupey. ^_^

I have lost 1 pound and a few inches around my stomach and waist already so I'll just keep doing my thing. Especially since I'm going to be a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding next year, I want to look good for the pictures. I can't smile naturally for them so I may as well have a good body. If I continue losing at the rate of 1lb/week, I'll be at least 52 pounds lighter in time for the wedding, which would be fantastic. :D

I've always looked at a girl for personality. Never for looks. If she was the sweetest, nicest girl in the world, but was larger than me in weight. I really wouldn't care. More fun in bed, if you catch my drift.

better still, the slimmer you are, the faster your metabolism so the rate at which you loose weight will get faster the more of it you lose.

Yaaaaaay!

Actually, I just stepped on the scale an hour ago and it says that I lost three pounds. So that makes me happy. The last weigh-in (when I thought I only lost one) was on Monday (after I had splurged a bit on the weekend before). Now I'm happy. As long as I continue losing, whether by 1 or 3 pounds a week, I'll get there. It may take a year or so but I'll be a sexy Aspie dammit! XD

@Alternative - That's kind of how my last ex was. He cared more about personality. Actually, the girl he dated after me was about 50 pounds heavier than me but she's an absolute sweetheart. Sadly, she left him (for a cheating jerk, no less) and he's been in shambles since. Yes, this guy cheated on me for the heavier woman but I can't help but feel bad for him. I guess I'm too nice for my own good. :(

That's good; don't lose the weight too fast, or you could be left with lots of excess skin. Actually, I'm not entirely sure of the specifics, but I think you need to lose weight slowly and steadily, to retain the skin's elasticity.

Yeah, 1-3 pounds a week is at a healthy pace, I think. I figured that losing 10 pounds a week would be a really bad idea. >.>

Lol, I'm pretty sure my family would be pissed if I moved to the UK, as much as I would love to live there. I can't really afford it right now anyway. Maybe sometime in the future. XD

Alternative does sound like a really cool person. :) Sometimes it's too bad the UK is not closer to the US, there's a guy living in London I would really love to slap upside his bloody head just for irritating the Hell out of me lately! The pompous @ss!

Fat people breathe really heavy and thats so annoying. They also waddle when they walk. They usually have a clueless look on their face and they open their mouths way too much. Fat people are also usually loud and obnoxious.

I'll be a straight shooter here, for everything there's a limit. You have to have some kind of attraction in order to have a relationship and finding any people (not just girls) in the 300 pound range attractive is incredibly difficult. That's just the way it is. Sorry, but fat people are not attractive. That's just how I feel. There are some people however who love fat people; some people use the word voluptuous to describe an attraction for fat people.

How come such a mundane topic went to 22 pages???

Anyway, guys don't HATE the overweight ladies. They just aren't attracted to them. There's a huge difference between the two.

We all look for similar body type, right?
