Sounds like a great plan.

If Im not mistaken you love snowboarding so I dont see anything wrong with going snowboarding on a first date.

< Why do you think it's my avatar? I derive more pleasure off my snowboard or bike than I ever would from a video game or looking at anime or stereotypical aspie interests.

I have seen a few pictures of you snowboarding at the post a pic thread if Im not mistaken.

Im not that much into videogaming(my ps3 blu ray lense stopped working 5 months ago and I waited until a few weeks ago to get it fixed because as I dont play that much I decided it could wait until christmas). Ive watched a few animes but after sometime I get tired of them(most of my class mates are into anime so every now and then I ask them for a good one and give it a go in an attempt to find a common interest).

I prefer to watch a movie(most likely a comedy) or go to the gym.

Good luck on your date.

I have a visit scheduled at my bf's house for the 7th-9th. My mom is actually okay with this...as soon as I told her I sleep with a sleeping bag on his floor. Lulz. We're going to meet halfway and have lunch at a diner so my mom can meet him and stuffs. Then I'll pile my stuff in his car and away we go. Hopefully the weather cooperates with this plan, otherwise I won't see him until the 17th at least. I'm soo excited, we get to exchange Christmas presents. ^.^

That's what my mom used to be like. She asked, "are you being good?"

"Of course mom! Don't you trust me?" Playing the guilt card, like she would to get me to listen to her in the past.

"Well...okay. Just be good, okay?"

I think she accepted that I'm going to do what I want regardless of what she says. I reassured her that I'm a smart girl and won't be making any huuuge mistakes anytime soon. She still badgers me on abandoning the Christian faith but oh well, one step at a time here. XD

My mom has some flashes of sanity, mixed with otherwise.

When I first started out in college, she said if the situation ever arose to use condoms. Then a few times since 2003, she's said its inappropriate to have sex before marriage. And then my brother admitted to sleeping with some girl at a house party in Rhode Island. So since then she's shut up.

However, I have a couple of cousins who have been in long term relationships (one is even engaged) and the family members keep the girls separated from their boyfriends. The one that lives here on the east coast, her boyfriend has a room in her parents house... down the hall from my cousin's. My west coast cousin, her fiancee slept in a different bedroom than my cousin when they recently visited over here.

Then again, both claim to be virgins for religious reasons. I got over that s**t back in 2006 or so.

I'm claiming to be a virgin just to make it easier around my family. They already give me a hard enough time about being able to drink now. I'm not a lush just because I ask for a glass of wine. D:

Yaaaaaaaaaay! Ooooo, I can double date with my friend and her husband. They're legally married but they're having their ceremony in July. I'm a bridesmaid. My bf met the bride already so I can take him as my date. He'd look so dashing in a suit. ^0^
