OK I'll give this a try.
Self diagnosed female aspie in North Georgia. 31 years old. Brown hair, blue eyes, 5'4". My hobbies are reading, writing, listening to music, and playing trivia. My interests include:
Ancient history, not so much people or events, just everyday life.
Folklore
Mythology
Other cultures, especially Japan.
Animals and animal behavior.
Early childhood development and parenting
Biology
Various earth sciences
The possibility of life elsewhere
and probably a few other things that I study obsessively but am forgetting at the moment.

I am looking for a long term relationship with some one who wants kids and likes cats. Who is smart enough to understand my nerdy interest and won't get agitated with my walking in circles with the heavy metal cranked to 11 and will be patient with me and not yell at me when stressed. A plus if you enjoy boardgames and card games on occasion.

Things I'm interested in are history, chess, playing guitar, walking, going to the gym. I enjoy good movies and tv, and reading. I like to learn from new people, so it doesn't matter to me if we're not a perfect fit.

People describe me as kind and honest once they get to know me. I work in software development.

I hope to do more travelling around the world in the future, especially to historical sites. It would be great to find someone to share the experiences with.

Some of my favourite things are:
Books - either history or crime/thriller/horror.
Movies - mainly thrillers or drama, e.g. Heat, Goodfellas, Godfather, Dances with wolves, Lincoln, Django unchained.
TV - Homeland, House of Cards, Breaking Bad, Hannibal, Dexter, Walking Dead, Big Bang Theory, WWE, sports like boxing, football, NFL, NBA.
Music - Bob Dylan. Growing up I used to listen to Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Metallica.

I have no way of keeping up with regional threads. If anyone wishes to post links to the regional ones I will be happy to post them at the very first post of this thread.

I think the only thing I suppose I'm looking for in a relationship is a closer distance to someone and a like-minded personality.

It's often too much of a rigmarole for me anyway, but often worth a try.

Fond of movies (Hitchcock, Haneke, Jarmusch, Von Trier) and write the occasional review, write short fiction, enjoys plays and museums too. Sometimes turn people off with the depth of my opinions and interpretations of those various forms of art, but maybe that won't be a problem for you.

Vegetarian, keep myself in decent shape, and capable of being communicative and affectionate, though not without the requisite awkwardness.

I'm highly interested in computers the networking and systems administration side of things as well as performance hardware.

O.k. I will try this one. My name is yournamehere. I am 6'3". 168lbs. I like cars, and bikes, and boats, and guns. Movies, food, and stuff... my hobbies include diamond willow sticks, riding around in circles and stuff for now. Im 40ish. I have my own home. I live alone. I have no kids. No pets. A pool table, and stuff. I live in MN. I like beautiful women??? I have been single for a long time. Kind of by choice. Have not found anything I'm willing to put up with. Never went out with a woman like me.... might be interesting.

I'm mostly gender neutral but easily externally identified as a male by others. I'm 21, I live right down the street from UCF.

I'm above average in height. I live in an apartment in a student housing development. I like lots of things. Kind of obsessed with music as I love to play my guitar constantly and listen to music whenever it's available. I also like reading comics, watching TV shows, between live action and animation, and am currently watching through Naruto and Teen Titans again. I play games quite often.

I'm fairly typical I feel like, in the way I manifest my emotions. Touching is something I haven't fully got the hang of yet. Sometimes it feels good and sometimes it feels awkward.

Since you probably don't know, I usually have facial hair and I have had very long hair on my head for the past five years. I take care if it as best as I can so it's not dreads or anything.

I smoke occasionally but can quit if someone doesn't like it. It's mostly a social thing that I developed to help bonding and it also feels very good if I already smoked weed and am very high.

My name is Matt. I'm a 25 year old Australian male.
Physically, I'm 6'2" in height and overweight. My hair colour is 2/3 dark brown and 1/3 grey/silver (natural) and my eyes are dark blue.

My hobbies and interests include Anime, Video Games, Manga, Politics and Science. My favourite band is Five Finger Death Punch. My sense of humour is based around innuendo, word-play, puns and "dad jokes".
I like short women with dark hair and dark eyes with no kids, who don't smoke/do drugs/excessively drink. Someone who shares at least some of my interests would be nice.
I value intellectual depth and wit, someone easy to talk to (trying to keep a conversation with some women is akin to pulling teeth, or trying to draw blood from a stone) and a good/similar sense of humour.

Looking at who has posted on this site, I'm ancient! For those of you that think it's too late at 30, I'm 50 and still looking. I've had relationships....several actually, but compatibility is always a problem. I'd like to meet a man who I can talk to and sit in silence with. I love my family and my work.
