For what it's worth, I'm here to say that it IS possible.

OK, so if you buy a car with a broken clutch, does that mean all cars are like that? No, it means you were unlucky. Don't give up just because things don't work out at first. The Internet has millions of people on it!

True. However, the girls I manage to attract online always seem to be somewhat of the same type : very high maintenance, mentally unstable and very proud.

Maybe join up to a dating site? They say if you don't find someone in 6 months you get your moeny back.

I'm pretty sceptical about that.

If you are still not sure, try something that's not a bar and not the Internet. Maybe some sort of party or something?

It was actually a New Year's party at a fraternity/sorority (Belgian student organisations are gender mixed) café. A typical bar situation seems even more complicated unless you can have someone introduced to a group of people.

Hey, two out of four ain't bad. Maybe it's three out of five, if being on this site is one of the other requirements. Even though I'm not in Minnesota currently, I'm a native.

...boyshape? I must be behind the times in colloquial relationship terminology.

Just in case you don't know, there is a site called AspieAffection, but there are very few members there,+ you're from Belgium if I remember it correct, and I can't remember to have seen someone from Belgium there, or Holland, but who knows what happens eventually :D.

(I myself will never have a chance though, my country is so uninhabited ).

I found one Belgian woman on that site, however she didn't seemed to have logged in in about two years. Anyway, I sent her a message but got no response yet.

Another possibility is to sign in in an aspie group in your area, but I think you already know that, I'm in an aspie group, but no aspie girl yet, I'm going to an aspie meeting this summer, and a girl was going to show up then, so who knows, but I'm not so serious about it, if I get an aspie, it's a bonus :D

I haven't heard from the Belgian Aspie group in about half a years now. I sent them a mail yesterday to ask for more info but I haven't received any response yet.

Possible? Of course. Almost everything is possible. Some things are just very hard. For example, just because we haven't been able to do alchemy yet, it doesn't mean it is impossible. Sometimes, you have to try all the doors to know if a house is locked.

But what if the house is so huge that it takes a lifetime even to check the first floor? I agree that statistically many things that seem impossible really aren't. We human beings, however, have finite lifespans (and relatively limited ones in addition), so most of us won't have the time to try every possible thing.

More important : some options aren't always obvious and easily overlooked.

You do make a good point, but I have an answer to this one.

"A lifetime" is actually relative. Some die while they are babies, some live to be more than 100. Use a less relative example. Also, how can there be doors on the second floor?

I said almost everything is possible. An example: God is capable of doing anything and everything. But he still can't make a brick so heavy he can't lift it, because he has the power to do anything, including carrying infinite weight. Some things are simply impossible.

A good quote here is "Innocent until proven guilty".

EDIT: The door thing was a metaphor (and I forgot how to spell it, did I get it right?)
Another metaphor (again, spelling help?) is "There are more than one way to skin a cat".

Those lines are not meant to be taken literally. Why would anyone want to skin a cat?
