I'll just suggest you start preparing for it. Swallow all pride. Acknowledge that you may get rejected. Play thousands of rejections through in your mind. Know it's just one possibility out of two (likely enough to take note of at least), and thus a 50% chance. And whatever happens, they won't eat you. When you reach your thirties, no matter whether you found your dream girl or not, you'll regret you were such a wuss when you were younger. I know I do.
