Me too. I live in Arizona, and I always see Mexican women and native girls when I drive through the city down Central Ave. You see them walking all along the sidewalks and at bus stops, it's like DAYUM they're pretty.

the last two people I have fallen for have been strongly native american, at least bone structure-wise. I read alot of native american writers and my favorite poet who is like my guru is native american and I am really drawn to something about it though I am some mongrel white girl who doesn't have any cool kind of ethnicity in me. Except some Lithuanian.

I have had crushes on really dark-skinned black women, I think they are goddesses on the earth, but they look right through me.

People like you are probably why I avoid people like you.

I don't think there actually anything wrong in what Negolin said. Why are people are so afraid to say out loud that they have a preference for a partner who looks like them? Negolin is more the norm than the exception. It seems to me his only mistake is to admit this un-PC truth on a public forum.

Maybe it's that fact that s/he's white? White people are in a pretty stuck position. Whenever they try to assert their identity, they, at the same time, must have to dodge the inevitable knee-jerk accusations of racism, white supremacy and eugenics. As non-white person, I have noticed this on many occasions.

As a thought experiment what if Negolin said instead, I believe family heritage & tradition is important....so for me it is African/Black.

I think the problem is you don't pick attraction with 'belief' it's sexual attraction which isn't based on heritage or tradition. if you like caucasians then you just do, not because of pressure applied by culture or because of what people before you have always done. they wiped their behinds with corn cobs too but no one adheres to that out of tradition or belief

I've dated women who were everything from Caucasian to Jamaican to Aboriginal to Chinese to Muslim. I'd say the two things they all had in common: they were all intellectually engaging, attractive females and all thought I was pretty cute. :) I have no preference at all -- I'm drawn to feminine and intelligent, nothing racial.

For me, ethnicity is irrelevant. It's all the same inside, if you know what I mean.
