I'm 21 and I fall into this boat. I especially worried about it when I was in high school when it seemed like everybody had to have a lover in his or her life. It was after my first semester of college when I stopped worrying about it. On December 31, 2007, I promised myself to stop worrying about it in 2008 as one of my New Year's resolutions. I did just that and I have discovered much more happiness in my life! Strangely enough, on January 4, 2008, the former NBC quiz show 1 vs. 100 had its first (and only) million-dollar winner, Jason Luna from San Diego, California. It was a special battle of the sexes episode and he admitted to host Bob Saget that he (at least at the time) does not have a girlfriend. Jason was my age at the time. Knowing that he was older and not in a relationship made me feel better about my case.

Despite my not having a woman in my life, I have a ton of female friends. The vast majority of my friends are female because I was teased a lot as a kid and it was mainly the boys doing it. Thus, I found solace with the girls.

The real losers are those who go "all my friends have a girlfriend except me" or "all my friends have already had sex and lost their virginity, except me, now i'm gonna do it with a random guy/girl".

So if your friends all of a sudden began to eat s**t and said it was good, you'd want to do it to?
If all your friends would begin to murder people and said it was fun, you'd do it to?

Stick up for youselfs and stay true to youself.
Dont just budge in for something like that.

Seriously, it's so sad. Some people lose their virginity JUST because all their friends already have had sex.
To some random person and not to someone they wanted to lose it to.

ooooor something along those lines~
So yes i hate the movie called "40 years old virgin"
wish the creators of that movie would just drop dead -.-

I have never had a girlfriend, and doubt I ever will. I don't despair with that though; I am comfortable with it.

I wonder if anyone of us never had a gf before.

I used to envy my NT friends who have GFs by 20 and I am still single. Makes me kinda a loser in the crowd unable to get into their topics.etc.

Anyone else had the same problems..

Being a girl and straight, I've never had a boyfriend, so I understand how you feel :(

I can definitely sympathize with many people who have posted in this thread. I used to think the same things, that I was going to be alone forever, that I'd never have sex, etc.

By the time I was 23 I had only ever been on one date, had never kissed a girl, never had sex, and never had a girlfriend. I was introduced to a girl who was 6 years younger than I was, by some friends I had at the time. I didn't find her attractive, at all, but she seemed to really like me.

I was very depressed at the time. So, I thought, "this could be my only shot, I need to just lower my standards, and try to like her." After she had asked me out several times, and I'd always turned her down, I finally said yes. We started dating and had sex, and she seemed nice, but I still wasn't attracted to her.

Eventually I got past who she was pretending to be and saw the real her, she was a chain smoking whore who would spread her legs for any guy that asked. Needless to say I broke up with her upon having this revelation, and was mad at myself for ever having gone out with her in the first place.

Then I went back to thinking I would be alone forever etc., but when I was 26 I met my fiancee online. She is everything that I've ever wanted, and makes me so happy. Often times I still wish I hadn't gone out with the other girl so that my fiancee could've been my first, but what's done is done.

Now I'm not saying "this will happen to you too," or anything as cliched as that. I'm just saying there is always a chance you will find happiness with someone, there's always hope, even when it feels like there isn't. So, don't lower your standards just to lose your virginity to someone who you will regret being with later.

Don't worry. I am 30 and never had a GF or anything close. I haven't even kissed anyone unless I was drunk. WTF is wrong with me?

I don't know why it is so hard. Seems easy for everyone else...

Oh, you're not alone. I'm 27, and I've never had a GF. Nothing even remotely close to one. Never kissed anyone, either.

I felt the same way. I didn't get a girlfriend till i was 18 almost turning 19. I was jealous in a way of my peers, teamates, and friends having girlfriends. You know what I wasn't looking and a girl who I had liked came to me and we started dating. Sometimes things come to you. Hey actually it was overated. I was confused as s**t. Having grey symptoms of AS I took what she said at face vaule or not understanding double meanings and was shy. It ended her going to prom with a complete fag. So somebody will like you for you man. Some girls like AS guys.

God Bless

At the risk of being an oddball I didn't get involved with a girl until I was 19. Ran around with her for a year and lost my virginity. Honestly the whole experience left me more then a little gun shy

A girlfriend isn't as great as you think that it is. The hotter isn't always, the better because most hot girls think that they are entitled to everything. Girlfriends, as a rule, eventually become nagging and difficult to please. The best thing to do is to have sex with them for a little while and then go find someone else before they become a burden. We are a lot like animals than we want to admit.

It's beyond me why there's a new one of these threads made every couple days. Most women in their teens and 20s (NT anyway) aren't worth the hassle. They listen to crappy music, go to bars/clubs/parties, play games, make sex seem like a chore, and have nothing of interest to say. It's like the guys on here put women on a pedestal.

May I ask you guys, what is it that you want from a girlfriend other than being able to say "I have a girlfriend so I'm not a loser?" Why not work on becoming a more well-rounded person so when you're older a quality woman will actually want something to do with you?

OH yes, the music. NTs have the worst taste in music.

The thing about girlfriends, it's not about sex, it's not about virginity, it's about love. I myself have fallen in love with somebody who fell in love with me at the same time. We think the same and love eachother more than we love ourselves. It's turned in to a curse now, though. She left a while back, her mum dragged her to another town with her. Now every school holidays the person I loved (and may still do) comes down to this town and on to Facebook, so I have to endure talking to her and possibly meeting her and falling in love again then getting it all taken away again when she leaves.
