So, if we can cancel out all the bad things we say about women, how the hell do we cancel out your holier than thou attitude?

I'll openly admit that I've said some bad stuff about women in forms here but some of the women have said some pretty bad stuff about men here as well. The women have there own section that they can post in just for them but us guys do NOT. It might be helpful if us guys had a place we could post in without having to worry about women being offended or attacking us. I just suggested having a Men's section in the WP forum http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt137683.html

In order for me to have that attitude, I'd actually have to be comparing myself to you. This is something I have not been doing, subconsciously, or otherwise.

Secondly, I have no problem with people who like boobs. I like boobs too. Liking boobs is normal. There are plenty of other threads on this board where someone can say "I like boobs."

Thirdly, this isn't about canceling out the bad things said about women. It's for everyone on this board. If someone said, oh, men are dickwads, but they're great for helping me reach the top shelf, I'd get annoyed by that.

Your actual wording was "what do you love about the opposite sex?" To that specific question, "boobs" is a perfectly reasonable answer. You didn't ask people to "say something nice", you asked them what they love. Given that all the hostility you were trying to counteract was about attraction, it only stands to reason that the positivity will be about attraction too.

How can there be a wrong answer to the question "what do you love about the opposite sex"? It's a taste preference. There's no such thing as a wrong taste preference.

Sure, "boobs" is a perfectly reasonable answer, when faced with my original question.

But here's my point:

List of bad things I've seen people write about women on these boards:

"They play mind games."
"They Have it so much easier than we [men] do."
"They're abusing us by refusing sex."

Now, how does it sound if someone says any of those things, but then says "Oh, but I do like their boobs," like it's supposed to "cancel out" or something?

I thought this was supposed to be a positive thread?

Can't have positivity by focusing on negativity.

I didn't mean to come across as negative. Sorry about that.

How mean.

Ok, but based on what boo said I'm struggling to think of something all of the male species has in common, regardless of whether you're talking about physical or non-physical traits :?. give us a clue

I guess I was a bit mean, and you didn't deserve that. :(
Males aren't a species though... :)

Based on what people have been saying, I thought my position in this thread and thought I'd reevaluate some stuff. Some of the answers I shot down weren't actually negative or disrespectful, so I'm reverting back to what I said in the OP, and I'll stop being a dick.

I like the V of a mans hip bone. I love the way their bodies differ to ours, with strong shoulders and narrow hips. Big hands.
Tall and strong, perfect to cuddle upto.. I miss having a special man close to me.. then again i'm really picky so I can live with it. Oh yeah, deep voices.

Not counting the classic scene from Mrs. Doubtfire, they can do it if they apply themselves and stand directly over the toilet bowl.

I actually heard that some women have two vaginas.

I rather liked the penises comment. Unlike the calloused manly man hands, I actually have one.

+1 to boobies
Big ones, little ones, medium-sized ones -- they all have their own way of being nice. (Butts are pretty much the exact same way.)

Legs. Especially long ones, with cute feet at the ends.

Hair, especially long, dark, straight hair.

Backs. Something about them makes me want to stroke my fingers up and down the spine. (I'm not sure if this is just me being weird, though.)

The smell of the vagina. There is no more intoxicating scent in the world.

Smiles. Especially the genuinely-pleased-to-see-you type that lights up their whole face. (Which is unfortunately rare for me.)

Okay okay... in general what I like about the opposite sex is just hard to pin down. This thread seems to me like just another huge generalization.

Just because you put an entire group into a positive box doesn't mean you aren't generalizing. That's like saying all gay guys have a good fashion sense or all gay women cut their hair short and wear flannels while scratching their tits and bashing men.

There is no one trait that men have all to themselves except for their sexual organs.
