The value of the L&D forum is really dependent on what you want to get out of it. If you are looking for a direct result in the form of dates from members here, don't count on that -- in general a forum isn't a great place for that, but especially not one that services people with a syndrome that explicitly includes social difficulties!
Also, some of the rancor here is because there probably should be separate forums for Men's and Women's issues. We start on one topic, and then drift over into the realm of gender politics, which I think wasn't the intention of the L&D forum.
What you do get out of the L&D forum -- free advice, and a place to vent (though probably a lot of the venting should happen on the gender issues forums I suggest above). Some of us have had some luck or success in dating, and do have some nuggets of wisdom to pass on. Whether you actually act on those gems is up to you

okay, i shall make those complaints. i don't like complaining about one gender, particularly, but you are failing to understand that men can be just as difficult as women in many cases. i am hereby complaining that some men:
- play mind games
- are too emotional
- aren't sure of what they want
- don't make sense
now you can no longer make the claim that women don't complain about men being like that.

I really do think us Aspies should try dating the same sex considering how lots of us have major problems with the opposite sex because of our AS issues. Lots of Aspie guys will not stand much of a chance with women & lots of Aspie women have lots of problems finding guys

I'll take your word for it but I honestly have never heard a women complain about guys playing hard-to-get, guys asking for an honest opinion & then getting upset when one is given or guys telling a woman that they want her to do something when they want her to do the opposite
