I use live bait, a long pole, and patience. Lots of patience.

Is this the site? http://www.aspieaffection.com

Is this the kind of thing where you register, spend ages doing your profile only to realise that you have to pay to contact someone?

I have contacted people without paying, but of course, the problem is that there are far more men than women, as there are far more men that have the diagnosis. The site is probably a very good dating site for aspie women, though.

It's true! Who can resist a caterpillar?

I like the fuzzy ones.

1. Get to know people on aspie sites
2. Go to aspergers support groups
3. Meet as many people as possible
4. Learn to determine "aspie traits" without having to be notified that the person is diagnosed
5. Go to hobby groups for your own interests
6. go to aspie affection

Yup, all this is very good advice.

I think I'm just going to contact an AA girl if I like the sound of her and she is within a hundred miles!

It would help if Aspie Affection actually worked though, this is probably the most buggy site I've ever seen.

Edited: How about Aspie girls home delivered, comes with meal allowance and er... range of outfits?

I wish you big luck if you will try aspieaffection, because you will need it. Since there are far more men than women that are diagnosed there are also far more men than women on aspieaffection

This site is quite dodgy. I registered and logged in but then the site echoed the db queries on the page. I would be careful, on a practical note it could disclose your email and personal details. I'd be happy to offer assistance into fixing it as I have a lot of knowledge in this area, but don't use Pear too much. Is this Alex's site?

Yeah that site seemed a bit dodge. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrh it's hacking my computer and stealing all my personal info, those damn russians and soviet union haha

We tend to be pretty underground, so good luck, first of all.
Secondly, do you want a real life or online relationship? That's important to consider.

Finally: The diagnosis isn't everything. Not only are there fewer Aspie girls, but there are loads of undiagnosed ASD girls as well. You might be setting your expectations a little too high. Be open minded! If you like a girl and she likes you back, does the diagnosis really matter? If it's the mutual understanding that you want, there are plenty of neuro-atypical girls out there, who can sympathize with you. You'll find someone eventually, trust me. :thumleft:
