I've been on 7 dates maybe. I never really formally counted them. Of course, I didn't consider them to be dates, but she always did. (Different girl every time) So after a while, I decided it wasn't worth the work put in. After all, I prefer to just hang out by myself a lot of the time, and read a book, or an Internet article. Girls get mad if you aren't hanging out with them and calling them every second of every day, and I can't put up with that crap. "You don't love me anymore, ehhhh!" Try loving yourself, honey, then we can talk about this...later. It's difficult to find someone that can just hang out and have fun without sex getting in the way. It's usually her issue, not mine. I've never formally brought up sex, but it's been thrown at me a bunch of times. So for a while, I tried throwing it first, and everything got messed up when I did that. Then I decided it was all a bunch of crap.
So now I avoid women, because it's so difficult to find a friend that doesn't have to spend money to have fun. This applies to the vast majority of people I've met, including guys. Fun should be simple, and eating at a restaurant does not qualify as recreation, nor does watching Youtube videos together. I can wack off while watching Youtube, and that's much more fun than watching a stupid video with another person. Going fishing, taking a walk, playing a board game...is all that so bad? Simple things are better. Why all the unnecessary complications, like text messaging, money, and who pays for what, and the things we are allowed to do (i.e. whatever she wants, or it doesn't go anywhere) and all these other stupid rules that I never wanted? Dating sucks. I've gone to the movies enough times to know it sucks as far as where I'm concerned.
Interestingly, I never went on formal dates with girls I ended up dating. We just went straight to the sex part both times. Maybe that's part of the reason I try to avoid sex and anything that has to do with it. Dating is all about sex, because that's what dating is: Jockeying for position, the ritual before mating, disguised as "hanging out as friends" when you both want more than that...you both want a sex partner. That's why it's so complicated, and it's at the point where most people don't even begin to understand what they are doing or saying at any given moment.
