Tall, dark, handsome and rich?

Sorry, this pushes my buttons. Aspie Chav says that six foot is nothing to write home about.

I'm 163cm (about 5'4"), Celtic-fair, a long way from handsome (although I was called a beautiful woman recently: I suppose a guy with long hair will get mistaken for a woman) and certainly not rich. Getting a job has always been one of those things that other people do.

I've been turned down by women for being too short.

Look, if what women want is "tall, dark, handsome and rich" then women are shallow.

Actually, I've learned that not all women are that bothered about height (my partner for one), but I can assure you a lot are. Go on to any dating site and you'll see women saying they are x-height, so therefore they want someone x+n height. Nothing about why the guy has to be taller. It's a simple assumption.

Yeah, most women are shallow. In such circumstances, a guy is better off single.

Maybe I'm the one with the bad attitide, but women that shallow are just going to disappoint in terms of personality.

Dude, I am skating on the edge of being politically incorrect here, but........

I have heard that a lot of black guys are err... not really good catches for one reason or another.
This leaves decent, educated black women hard up to find a good boyfriend or husband.

If you are a good man then you should have lots of choice since you are young and good looking.

Wombat, in most cases I tend to think of you not so much as skating on the edge of being politically incorrect as driving a monster truck down politically incorrect's four lane highway.

Among other things there is a definite implicit assumption that black women can only get into relationships with black men.

I really don't get this. Is there a correlation between melanism and personality that I'm not aware of?

Personally I've never had any issue with dating outside my ethnic group. My partner comes from Andean South America. I'm north-west European. Ethicity has never been an issue between us, although she has had a lot of grief for being in a relationship with a "f*cking gringo". The gringos, on the other hand, don't seem bothered.
