Thats a vague generalization. Before I drifted apart from my friends, I went there to hang out with them and have fun, not get girls drunk and bring them back to my apartment. The bar's no different than anywhere else. No matter where you go, there's always good and bad people.

This is what I said in another thread, at an unconscious level we do not always have the instinctual drive to begin and maintain relationships.

Throwing yourself into somethone you meet in a bar, without NT discernment sensibilities, is problematic for aspies.

We are too naive to be around bullys and people who would lie and use us. Discerning your choices would eventually bring you around like minded people who are suitable
