That's better!

But seriously, it's a lot more subtle and nuanced than that, it's about not being too nice, not simply being an ogre - it's about being cocky and charming at the same time, but not too cocky.

It takes real-world experience mostly, but I think the PUA literature can help guide you in the right direction as long as you don't allow it to undermine your essential morality...

If you put bacon in a jacuzzi, won't it get soggy?

Yes, I think the "unguarded and childlike" says it pretty well. And that describes myself a lot of the time, which leads to a bunch of women calling me "sweet".

I wouldn't say "feminine", though I'm coming to realize that "feminine" can be seen in two quite different ways. One can mean the absence of adult, "manly" masculinity, and I guess in this sense the sweet guys (and me) are quite "feminine". But in another way, I think the average "little boy type" is actually less like a woman than the manly type, because the latter usually has a more developed sense of how to care for others emotionally, and has more of a desire to preserve the status quo.

I spend a lot of time thinking about what kind of women are likely to be sexually excited by the unguarded, childlike men. I'd guess those who are unguarded themselves, and/or have more dominant, "butch" personalities.

I think your guessing isn't accurate, I'd guess that women who likely to be be sexually excited by "the unguarded, childlike men" are a very small minority, even far smaller than a group of particular type of women.

Looking back, it seems like women who were "in" to me sexually were either bi-sexual, or had bi-sexual tendencies.

It's really a shame, because I tend to be attracted to really feminine-looking women - probably because it makes me feel more masculine in comparison.

being considered "sweet" has more to do with how u treat a woman than what u look like

if it was looks then id get called sweet all the time, but i dont

if by simply changing the frequency at which i make my self available can get rid of my "sweet guy" title its not at all a looks things

same goes for the "nice guy" title, and if u actualy think men try to be a "nice guy" as a poly to pick up women u hav no idea what ur talking about

men who are "nice guys" would often if possible sell their soul just to be able to hav more confidence and not fall into this their defense mechanism aka. being a "nice guy"

Do you mean like 1 in 1,000, or 1 in 10,000? And don't you think they are likely to have some sort of characteristic in common, other than this attraction? I mean, lots of men are attracted to unguarded, childlike women, so it seems that the women in question would be ones who have this "circuit" turned on, despite having female anatomy. That ought to have some repercussions, no?

And Grisha, bisexual women don't necessarily look different from straight women. There is some sort of a trend, but it's nowhere near where you can guess when passing a woman on the street. The only ones you can do that with are the really butch lesbians--though even then, some women who have such a stocky build and prominent jaw are straight.

And while I do like the cute feminine type, there are some less feminine-looking women I find attractive too. In my case it's more about interests--I do prefer to feel like the more technically- and mechanically-minded of the two partners, since that makes me feel masculine by comparison, or at least as if I'm looked up to for my special mind.

So you have found the time to perform a study of 100,000 women between frolics in the Jacuzzi with your new wife and bacon?
