wtf.

Humans are intelligent enough not to have it if it's not fun. Therefore it has to be fun for people to want to reproduce. As someone else said, it explains everything.

What defines it as "fun"? Biology.

What's your point? It's the way we evolved. The people who find it "fun" are the ones who kept the line going.

It doesn't have anything to do with external circumstances. The way I look at it, everyone has to establish their worth by proving that they can be an integral part of the social hierarchy. Survival is the ablilty to integrate and be accepted into the social hierarchy, by showing offensive and defensive skills.

If the kid shows that he cannot be integrated into the social hierarchy, he's a reject and the hierarchy will force him out. In the forest, many species of animals will even kill the rejects. Natural Selection, the type of gene that a person has that would cause them to be rejects and is not a desirable trait to be passed on to future generations. The social hierarchy makes sure that it won't be easy to do so. Women prefer to go for the social survivor, the guy who can support himself within the social hierarchy.

Probably the most accurate and concise way I've seen this phrased.

"And I, my lovely," he said in a deep baritone voice which marked his masculinity in an easily identifiable way, "love your symmetrical facial features which indicate genetic superiority and large breasts which I subconsciously know will provide milk for our offspring. let us drive in my expensive car to my enormous house and engage in coitus over and over again."

I think that her point is that: Then a more appropiate title would have been the truth about sex.

And those would be your beliefs. Which is totally fine. Just don't force your beliefs down other people's throats. That's why religion gets such a bad rap.

Yes. If love and sex were the same thing with the same point, asexual, gay, transgender and bisexual people wouldn't exist.

Natural selection in the human genome died out at the same time we invented alcohol.
