I have made several efforts to understand someone else´s point of view, I think that if I do this regularly and do it right I´d have an easier time understanding what went wrong in my next social failure and hopefully be able to sort things out with the other person.

I have also started looking for some things that may help with my social anxiety(somehow ended up on a IM conversation about my confidence issues with someone that had gone through something similar and she said that there are several things that could help so Im looking into the alternatives at the moment, trying to see which one seems like it would be more suitable).

spongy, that's GREAT!

Been avoiding my issues for too long/spending too much time online and I would like to get back on track soon but my fear of approaching others is making things hard and someone mentioned that this could be worked upon so I figured that it wont hurt to give it a try with an open mind.

Just woke up so unless working on your latest project at 6 am counts(dont normally do this but was approached with some interesting info and I just had to do some research on this information)I havent done much.

I've done several things over the past weeks actually. I volunteered for a political organization, but told them I couldn't make phone calls. They were fine with that. So now I'm managing their database.

Also today specifically, I ventured to my Alma Mater USC to attend a seminar on online distribution of entertainment content. Practiced my career networking skills but caught myself avoiding eye contact several times. I was able to pull off a reasonably enthusiastic smile though -- mostly because it was sincere. I was fairly excited about the topic.

I exercised again today, another day of running like I have been for the last two weeks. I also applied to a few jobs online.

I trimmed my bangs, so my hair is finally even looking. This was last night though.

Didn't go to school. Given my grades, I can afford it. It's a good thing because I'm very displeased with the educational system in general. They are too slow to teach new things (it's as if they thought students are ret*ds) and they love to lose time with useless courseworks.

Unfortunately, I need to finish accounting school to become an accountant, so I'll have to accept all the BS if I want to achieve my goals.

But damn, it feels good skipping classes when you were meant to finish (or at least begin  ) a ridiculously pointless schoolwork given by a teacher.

I have to admit that I didn't accomplish what I attempted in my earlier post. I didn't end up going to bed any earlier. Also, I realized that I have other priorities to take care of before I can spend significant time socializing. I might find a different meetup group that wouldn't need as much of my free time. I will keep trying to make progress on both goals.
