but i thought you wanted to marry me, I am just 60 kg!

Put some meat on those bones Mr. Runway!

Don't you think 90 kg is too much for a 5'3" (~160cm)?

Yeah, you're probably right. Didn't realize you were 5'3".

I have general preferences, but all of that can be blown out of the water if the person has other characteristics I'm attracted to.

What you need is a dolphin man.

As long as they have a nice face and they're roughly somewhere between 4' 5'' and 7' 0", all that really matters to me regarding weight is whether their health is at an immediate risk. Too skinny or too fat is concerning, and I wouldn't want somebody I cared about and found attractive to drop dead during a date or something.

I dated some very large and very small men in my past. I don't mind guys with some meat or muscle on them, so I felt comfy with guys who were in the 200-220 range, and often quite tall (over 6' for sure, some much more). I am a little chubby myself and for that reason I can't discount people based on size. Still, I did have one Bf for a short time who was very overweight, to the point that it affected his health even at 20, and I don't think we would have had a future together just for that alone.

I want someone who does care enough to try and take care of himself, and my now-husband does. Our weights have both fluctuated up and down around 10 pounds since we've gotten together. That's acceptable for both of us.

This. ^^

That being said, my preference is for larger (not necessarily overweight) people. Not tall, just large-proportioned. I'm a big girl (not fat, but *large*), I have a large ribcage and a lot of dense musculature *and* curviness on my 5'6" frame (size 10 right now). I kind of like shorter guys with big builds. I'm put at ease more readily, but I wouldn't refuse to get to know someone if they didn't fit that type.

I've always been most drawn to women who are about in the same size & physical condition as I have been, which has changed from time to time. When I was out of shape, I was interested in women who didn't necessarily fit the picture of fitness, and vice-versa. Although it is perfectly reasonable for anyone to fall for anyone, and there is often no apparent reason, it seems to make sense to be somewhat compatible. If I were way out of shape, and didn't have the ability to enjoy a 10-mile walk in the mountains at 12,000 feet of elevation in Vail, CO, for instance, I probably would not date or marry a woman who is in perfect shape and lives & loves to do that.

Aw. I'm only 190 pounds (overweight, but just shy of obese).

If you think you're too skinny, have some decent meat and choccies. ;)

So there's hope for us skinny guys, but we must dress up like girls? 8O

I'm joking, of course... I've been there, done that already.

I don't look at people like that. I always find that if i like certain person i'll look around for people that look like that person. I don't actually like those people though, for me it's all about that one person.

Nope, not at all, it just doesn't matter.

I'd prefer someone shorter and lighter than me.

Yes. 60kg is a good weight for someone of your height.

I can put up with underweight guys, but not underweight girls. For both genders I go as far as the low end of obese.

Guys: BMI 18-32
Girls: BMI 22 - 32.
