The Vegan Diet, Asperger's Syndrome, and Courtship Ritual
There's only one thing that the people who are being anti veganism/vegatarianism are right about in this argument.
Most vegans will have to supplement B12. I can't give a citation off the top of my head, and am having to write this up quickly, but 92% of vegans and 50% of vegetarians need to eventually supplement b12. However, just get a vegan supplement, take that one, and pay some attention to what you're eating and you're fine.
Overall not eating meat, or going to the extreme of avoiding all animal products, will provide you with dietary requirements. People who are vegetarian for a year and then start arguing how its incredibly unhealthy, aren't actually paying attention to how to eat properly. Eating vegetarian is actually not hard, and is actually really healthy. It's only slightly harder to eat healthy and vegan.
However, B12 is an issue in a majority of cases. The thing about b12 is that its produced by bacteria and the bacteria has moved too low in the human gut to absorb it well. This means while other species don't need to worry about B12 because bacteria in their gut create it, and they absorb it, humans do need to pay a little attention to b12.
A lot of people don't end up realizing this because the human body tends to have about a 10 year storage of B12. If you're vegetarian or vegan for less than 10 years you won't have issues, because you're just running off of what' already stored. If you go too long without any though, then you start having neurological problems that end up rather serious.
Because of the details of it, not every vegan will need to supplement b12, however you should assume that as a vegan you will need to if you remain vegan. If you're vegetarian, you should actively pay attention to it if you remain vegetarian.
However, other things won't need to be supplemented, its not unhealthy to avoid eating meat, and there is far more to vegetarian food, and vegan food, than tofu.
Cholesterol and saturated fats have been specifically linked to erectile dysfunction. I would hypothesize that male vegans (who by definition eats a diet low in cholesterol and saturated fat, both of which are found primarily in animal foods) are more likely to experience healthy sexual arousal and stamina, especially later into adulthood, compared with a daily meat eater.

The one guy I know who transitioned to vegetarianism found himself tasked with controlling a newfound, raging sex drive.
Supposedly the member itself grew, too?
He says he certainly feels less sluggish eating plant foods than flesh and dairy.

The penis is an extension of the heart. What's good for the heart is good for the penis too.

I was not sexually active at the time I went vegetarian (too young) so I can't say exactly, but there were plenty of positive changes (such as reduction of acne and body odor) that helped boost my self-esteem and made me feel more attractive.
I will say that eating "living foods," such as fresh fruit, with a partner is an extreme aphrodisiac for me. Whereas overeating heavy foods just makes me sleepy.

Can't speak to the sex drive aspect, but the one time I attended a vegan potluck, and ate lots of whole, living foods (sprouts and things) I felt like I was high. It was ridiculous. I probably acted like a fool (more than usual) but I'd never felt that...vital? It was amazing.

I have reduced my intake of meats, alcohol and processed / instant frozen food and have been slowly moving over to vegetarian dishes and more organic stuff. I have to say the weeks I do cater to this change I have increased amounts of energy, need far less sleep, and my other needs...well, I get more of an appetite you could say.
