No, I do think it's true on here though that a lot of the men ar looking for female warmth and intimacy, which is not the same as sex at all.

When I was mentioning "putting yourself down", I was referring to the section where you said you were looking for someone to put up with your many faults. I hope the comment was meant to be jocular as otherwise it sounds rather like low self-esteem.

Believe it or not, there really are good-hearted people who genuinely give a s**t about the people around them. Even when they're relative strangers.

I wish more people here could put aside their cynicism once in a while and see that.

It's very difficult at times not to be cynical. I have seen woman after woman date stupid, using, sometimes abusive guys over and over, passing up or simply refusing to date good guys.

That said; you have to step back and remember that this one might be different. Don't judge a book by it's cover and do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
