You never know she may turn up when you least expect it, neither me or my other half went looking, we just went along to an event we both were interested in and we found love!

yeah, he is, dating was abit of a minefield really because he play's his emotions very close to his heart.
but because i am generally quite shy too its works well, once he realised i liked him he approached me and we started talking and it went from there.
i wouldn't say that his AS has had much impact on our relationship but sometimes he can be a blunt and straight to the point.

ive always had problems asking girls out in the past. i tell myself im gonna do it but i choke everytime. iam trying to figure out how to get over that hurdle. any suggestions?

What about asking a very good mutual friend if the girl likes you?

the only problem with that is i very rarely have friends around me.

NT girls won't go out with an AS guy unless they have known him for ages (proven fact) or they are not totally NT. Case in point My Best Mate Danny (AS) and his Ex - Nichola. She is NT, but shes not totally NT.

Same possibly applies to NT guys, I wouldn't know.

AS girls are more likely to accept, because they understand more: Case in point: Me. Both of my relationships that worked have been with AS girls.

Guys are the same in this case. I know this cause my 2nd relationship the girl asked me out. By text, at 3 am............ talk about bad timeing, i had just got to sleep.

Is it kinda weird goin out with people that youve always considered friends in the past?

Yeah, I won't even look at NT girls anymore unless I feel I have the authoritative right-away to talk to em. I know that messes with their heads, I've heard people comment on how messed up that is, but what can I do? Time and time again they've proven to me that they can't even treat me fairly unless they go through the throws of disgust in realising their something really wrong with me and finally come back arround to accepting it and getting to know me for who I am. Even at that though, just by the mechanics of how their minds and motivations work dating an NT is a stark impossibility - even if I may have a psychology that seems very NT on a lot of levels.

As for AS girls, couldn't say but I still have that fear where I'm not sure which part sees me as undatable - the NT or the woman. If it's the second I may be S.O.L. with AS girls too. Like a lot of people here as well it doesn't even take being a bad person, its all in my presence and gestalt and it's something that heads em off before they even get to see my personality. When its that and just the natural rhythm of someone's personality, its very tough for em to have any morale left in this area because they're helpless - there *is* nothing they can do, they're just undesireable.
