Coming from a female, beards can seem attractive if they're the maximum length of the black and white picture above this comment, and kept clean and tidy and well groomed.

Kissing a man with a beard though, is another story. I've done it, and it's horrible. It irritates my face to high heavens.
This is a bit TMI/adult, but would you give oral to a woman with lots of stubbly and pubic hair down there? You wouldn't because it would irritate your face.

"Wow, that clean-shaven guy looks super manly!" Said no one ever.

I think it depends on the person.

Some males look awful with beards.

Beards can suit other males a lot.

Also as someone that has had a long beard for over a year(started as wanting to freak my parents out for personal reasons, felt comfortable with it after a month) I can tell you that not everyone replies in the same way to beards.
I have seen people that were disgusted by it and kept telling me to shave it.
I have seen friends that liked it and thought that it suited my personality.

As a matter of fact quite a few people liked it once I was comfortable with it.

There's this advert that comes up early mornings on Comedy Central for building muscles with these exercise DVD's, and one of the 'succesful customers' has this really creepy stubbly beard D: He really doesn't look approachable.

That may seem like a bad thing but when you are burnt out of social interactions and trying to take a break for a while looking unapproachable is actually a blessing(last year for example I could have two seats for myself at all times when I took the subway (get on at the first station)because almost no one wanted to sit next to me, right now Im lucky if I can get two seats for myself two stops in a row. And thats just one out of many examples

I actually thought beards were in style now. Maybe it's because I live in Asheville, which is very liberal if you don't know. There are a lot of beards and hairy armpits here.

The pencil-thin douchebag beard is very popular now...

Had one for decades and just regrew it last year. My girlfriend loves it. As far as I know it's never been a problem.

This thread shows how backwards everything is. So guys are expected to be complete as*holes these days but not allowed to have beards? Back before the '00s it was perfectly acceptable to have beards, but with this new "pansy" generation you're not allowed to have one. It makes no sense.

Facial hair looks good until about the 4th or 5th day after shaving.

I've heard of them because I'm a big fan of comedy novelty type music. I haven't heard much by them thou because I haven't found where to pirate it from :pirat: :(

I thought about posting the Beavis & ButtHead ep, Beard Boys here where they're watching a show with a bearded guy in bed with a woman who says he's smooth so the two dumb-asses decide they want beards to get woman so they cut their hair & glue it to their faces & some gets stuck to their hands & start chasing girls at the mall saying things like "I'm so smooth I got a beard on my hand". I didn't post it because it would violate more than several forum rules but you can find it on YouTube

We have lots of male performers with facial hair from my city. Facial hair is very common here. I would say maybe 50% of men have facial hair. Clean shaven is against the norm here.

Here is Barry Morgan. He is another local muso from here with facial hair.

Big beards are beautiful. I hope to grow mine out at least a foot long.

Testosterone causes the growth of facial hair, and if someone has a beard, they're often thought of as having "too much testosterone", and are therefore, are more likely to be violent.

Influences from the media, can also change peoples opinions, and it's also seen as "unclean".
Some people, also view a man as "lazy", if he doesn't shave.

Do we mean like stubble or... "A Great Big Bushy Beard!" because I've heard some complain about stubble...
Then again it's down to choice, some do go for beards...
