but i think you are referring to billiscool's 5 or 6 threads devoted to the subject, which got on people's nerves. so eventually yes - they did start to crusade against that blanket statement that "women hate shy guys". they heard it so many times in the forum, over and over and over and over and over and over again.

this was one post. so meh.

you are speaking in absolutes, and it isn't actually true - many women DO like shy men. it is the degree of shyness that makes a difference. if he is so shy that he cannot speak, for example, then it is hard to ever know if he is even interestedo that wouldn't work too well, but there is a great deal of variation in the spectrum of "shyness".

In my experience, the right girls find shy awkward types endearing. The key is to be comfortable with your awkwardness and not be an emo, bitter, obessive "nice guy" about it..............

no, it's illogical. she dated me before. she loved me before. if happen once, it can happen again but

People CHANGE. People's preferences and opinions changes. Personality even changes. She probably changed as well, and for her you are not the one anymore. Appearantly she has a different idea of 'the ideal mate' now. The things she liked about you, she doesn't like anymore. Not in that way at least.
