i didn't go. i was very... um... "iconoclastic" as a teenager, so that wasn't exactly my scene. i also hated most everyone in my school, so... i think if i was doing anything that night, i was most likely drinking in my room.

i didn't attend my 10 year reunion, either. i don't think anyone did. the former members of the student council tried to organize one, and apparently, no one showed up. we all got a nasty email from the former student council president that essentially told us all to "screw off", and that there was no chance of another reunion happening because we were all so unappreciative of the effort they put forth to organize.

...sorry, high-school overachievers; when people grow up, they tend to have lives they can't abandon just to go back to their hometown and have a pissing contest about who's more successful.

Yeah, I'd never pay for anyone's companionship, either.

I had been looking forward to the chance to wear a gown all my life, date or no date. But by the time prom age rolled around, I was at a fine arts school that didn't have proms :( . But the trade-off was that they didn't have athletics :D ).

I still have not worn a real gown.

I didn't go to high school. So no prom either. There was stuff in college like prom which I never attended. I'm honestly too miserable and sleep deprived while in school to do stuff.

Going to school festivity vs. spend the night computer gaming

+ Computer gaming: Fun
- Computer Gaming: None

+ Festivity: None
- Festivity: Lots of preparations to do and money to pay to have no fun.

I have never had a girlfriend, let alone a girl who is somewhat attracted to me so It was kind of a no-brainer me not going.

I also hate people, so that kind of played a part as well.

I went. I had some friends who were in a club we all belonged to. I wore my sister's dress, and it did not cost much, except for the ticket to go.

I went and had a nice time. I wore a long fall and silver eye shadow and my date told me I looked like a "Bond girl". I wasn't entirely sure what he meant by that, but he smiled when he said it, so I took it as a compliment.

We went parking later with another couple and he tried to ... but I wouldn't .. lol

I didn't, I never really understood what the big deal was. Most people I know who went didn't really enjoy it

I didn't go because I didn't want to go and my boyfriend didn't either.
