They might have thought you were Chris Martin or James Morrison.

I have learned one thing in the past year or so of trying with women: It's all about the smile. If you don't smile as a guy, you've already lost. And this is, I am afraid, one thing where us Aspie guys really fall short. Casual smiling for me is unnatural, and it is always a forceful act of will. Girls have been telling me when I asked them, that they actually do find me menacing in appearance, to the point that they feel intimidated. My default expression is quite close to yours. I have a noticably broken nose, high cheekbones, and this, so it seems, adds alot to that factor. Even when I think I am smiling, I have learned that it is not the case at all. I had to get my picture taken for some official stuff, and the photographer asked me to smile. I did. He had to ask me three more times (and was actually getting kinda annoyed and rude) because there was no noticable difference.

This happened today when I was heading to work, I was walking listening to my mp3-player and I saw 2 girls my age walking in my direction, I didn't pay attention to them but I heard one go "OOOOHH MMYYYY GOOODDDDD" and they were both staring at me standing still when I passed them minding my own business.

This actually got me thinking, is it usual for a guy who is slim and gets zillions of (probably false) compliments from people about his good looks without asking for it, to be seen as a creepy alien monster by some females?

This is a recent picture of me:

I was wondering if it was because my long neck, narrow shoulders or feminine looks?

Could have been anything.

- Your headphones sucked according to their opinion(I have had several women over 40 telling me that only anti socials wear headphones like mine for example)
- Your shirt reminded them of a inner joke
- Whatever.

Last week I have been staring at anyone with a jake the dog t shirt(2 people).
There was nothing wrong with them I just couldnt wait until mine got here because I had just ordered it.

Seriously doubt there was anything about your appearance that was offputting for them
