how about date other wp members? We're all a bunch of lonely foreveraloners, maybe we all were meant for each other. There will be one less lonely girl just like Biebers song.

Ironic enough since I turned 24 last Friday and this was the same thing I still have a problem with.

Putting it in more miserable-sounding words: Even for "the most lonely girl ever", it doesn't seem like having me as her boyfriend would be an improvement.

Darwinian requirements for mating are severe taskmasters. too bad there are not more than a tiny percentage of people who can go past Darwin's rules and embrace the golden rule instead.

Screw being lonely. Solitude is the new cool thing.

Really though, I even lost 85 lbs to see if that would boost my confidence but I think that I might not be "built for love." After losing all that weight, I thought I wanted a girlfriend. Some women will gaze at me, and I can go up and talk to her, but then I remind myself that I value freedom over responsibilities.

But I'm happy with having more freedom than an anchor tied around my foot. I don't have to tell nobody nuthin' :wink:
Think of all the people that are not single, and even the people with kids! Imagine all the freedom you'd lose! 8)

on the other side of the coin, speaking as a solitary type for several decades until recently, I can say that companionship is mighty nice in the cold dark lonely night. it is awfully nice to have somebody to talk to who is willing to listen to me. it is awfully nice to have somebody I can listen to and sympathize with. but as a social nonentity I generally lack those things.
