"Aspie burnout" (Aka simply...burnout) is another thing that happen to all humans but the cult of Asperger on WP adopted it as something Aspie-exclusive, there's no scientific basis that it's an aspie thing or it's more frequent in aspies.

But when most NT's get burned out they look to their friends and don't avoid them. So there is a difference.

Not having friends is not an aspie-exclusive thing either.

And hey...most MEN don't look to their friends in their peril times.

....but they don't go out of their way to avoid them for long periods of time either.

I thought people look to get away from their everyday normal life when they get burned out and go on a vacation or something to help restore themselves to what they call and feel to be normal. This is common for everyone. The reason I am not on vacation is because I won't be getting paid if I choose to do so. But I found the solution to just get away from my routine and do a different shift. I have actually found myself getting some sleep at night right now. At the end of these two weeks will be Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. So I will be out of this town for that weekend as well to visit family back home.

Yes get away from the day to day grind. But I want to get away with good company. But I do know people who go off on their own. But for me getting away from it all means enjoying the company of my close friends and family.

Yep. I think many people in my past must have thought my behaviour was pretty callous towards them, in this respect. I didn't understand why, too.
