I'm scared of men touching me. Advice??

I looked it up on Wiki and there is a phobia that sounds very similiar to what you describe, and it is supposedly rare. But yes, seeing a professional about it is the best course of action I think. Hopefully you can find someone you get along with. Don't be afraid of changing doctors/therapists if it isn't working for you.

What she basically needs to work out for herself what kind of touching is reasonable, and in what kind of circumstances, and what isn't.

A close friend giving you a hug is completely different from a nasty drunk doing it in public.

Probably it is a normal reaction of an aspie. This was the reason why I refused to go to the dance classes at my school, I just feel terrified if any man who isn't a close family member touches me. I don't like being touched by women either, but it's not that bad as with men. Even when I try to hide it, everyone does still notice it, which results in boys asking me if I am scared of them when I have to dance.

Actually, if I don't step back when someone tries to touch me it is a sign that I like and value that person very much. Exept of my close family, it is just my best friend and the boy who I am in love with.
