I would prefer to be alone, then I could blaze down the motorway at 300kmh listening to highway star.

A gf would be nice though lol

Off topic, but Highway Star is the best driving song ever!

That is all.

Never heard it before.

A girl I use to play with when I was five has been counting down minutes until her wedding this week on Facebook. And with the holidays approaching everywhere I turn are images of happy families. And here I am, 3 relationships in my whole life and one of them abusive and the other I think was secretly married. Right now nothing. Okcupid and plentyoffish have failed me.

I think most people really do love their families. I love my mom, even if she does occasionally embarrass me. It's true I hate my father but I have very good reason to. But I don't know what I'd do without my mom, and I believe most people feel the same way.

Anyone else here ever cry themselves to sleep at night because they are lonely? I usually end up doing this a couple times a week. It's the worst feeling in the world!

No. Being that I am always hopeful, I just try and crack a smile knowing my time will come.

I know how you feel. I don't honestly believe I will ever be with anyone, but I try and stay positive.

I'll be 35 next month and have never had any kind of relationship or even a female friend. I do get lonely because of it, but at the same time I see my NT younger brother going through a divorce right now so I can't help but think maybe it's for the best. I mean if he couldn't pull it off, what shot do I have?

On the other hand, if a woman really wanted a relationship with me, I'd see warning flags going up. If she's in such a bad state in life that I'm the best she could get, is she someone I'd want a relationship with?

Collecting sports stuff (and wearing them) is a nice distraction from me not being in a relationship, but soon.......

I'm a cuddler, and as well as a relationship, I really want somebody to cuddle with. I love to cuddle and fall asleep with whoever I happen to be in a relationship with. I love the closeness. It makes me warm, makes me feel loved, and makes me feel protected. In general, it just feels good to have that other person there, even if we are just enjoying each other's company and not talking. I just wish I could find somebody who wants to be with me and do that with me. The holidays are coming up really fast, and every year I always make a secret wish that I could meet an awesome guy and fall in love with him and actually have him fall in love with me, too, and it never happens. That would be the best Christmas present ever, and it's the one thing I always ask for that I never get. I love Christmas, but it gets really lonely when you're single at Christmas, even if you spend it with your family. :(
