So what else means when you fantasize of raping/getting raped if it doesn't reflect a desire?
this is just wrong. i fantasise all the time about stuff i could/would never ever do in real life. that's the whole point of having an imagination, isn't it??
If you are given the chance to actually do the fantasy idea (in exactly the same setting and persons involved) when you are horny while fantasizing about it, wouldn't you want to do it?
absolutely not.
You probably have a nasty fantasy then. Cannibalism? blood?
Anyway, why you've chosen to ignore the rest of my post?
You just accused and assumed me of being a rape-apologist, but when I proved to you that your assumption (based on a post I did before your post) is totally the opposite of the truth, you run away instead of admitting you thought wrong.
actually no, it's nothing like that, nothing violent or even really that kinky and certainly nothing illegal--it's just not something that i could actually do in real life because of my personality. that's kind of what makes it fun to fantasise about, because it's not something i could do because i am just a shy and reserved person by nature and so it is something unknown to me. but no, i'm not going to share with you what it is, because it's none of your business.
i ignored it because i'm tired of having the same conversation again and again. you think rape is wrong, i get it. you just like to mention that women fantasise about rape when people bring up the subject of rape because.....well, whatever your motivation for that is. that's up to you to spell out.

Hopper, just pay attention to what happened.
I posted this post:
So what else means when you fantasize of raping/getting raped if it doesn't reflect a desire?
I did hear it from few women too, always are those into bdsm and I personally find it sickening.
That's why when a guy here said he has rape fantasies (to rape) the first thing I told him is to seek therapy.
Starvingartist deliberately quoted the first phrase:
So what else means when you fantasize of raping/getting raped if it doesn't reflect a desire?
and she replied while obviously trying to paint me as a rape-apologist. Even tho even in this phrase there's nothing justifying rape, we were analyzing fantasies.
And she ignored the whole rest of the post that shows that I am not a rape-apologist at all:
That's why when a guy here said he has rape fantasies (to rape) the first thing I told him is to seek therapy

There's no motivation about it except I read it in a Twilight-related article, and this is a Twilight thread, now let's back to the topic and enough of your pathetic assumptions/attempts of portraying me something I am not.
You didn't, starvingartist did.
What she did is that selectively quoted a part, accusing me of being rape apologist, while the rest of my post that she chose to not quote, debunks her accusation/assumption.
where exactly did i call you a rape-apologist? please cite the post in which i did that.

um, are you calling me sexist and saying i judge all men equally negatively? i don't appreciate being told how i think and feel by other people who don't know me. i think i know my own mind and heart a little better than some random anonymous guy on the internet whom i have never met, thanks.

There:
anyone who has been raped themselves or knows someone who has been raped and has seen what it can do to a person would never seriously wish for that to happen to them. the fantasies are always within the control of the woman having them--that is why they remain in the realm of fantasy. fantasising about what it might be like to have no control (if you don't really know what that experience would be like) and actually having someone rob you of your bodily integrity are two VERY DIFFERENT THINGS.
just because some women might admit to fantasising about "rape" (i don't think of those fantasies as even portraying rape, because if the woman involved in the imaginary activity wants the sex to happen and consents to the activity then it's not rape) does not mean actual rape doesn't happen or it's not wrong. it does happen (to women who DON'T fantasise about it!) and it is most definitely wrong.
That post was a reply to me, so you were implying me saying that rape fantasies happen to some means that I am saying that rape isn't wrong.

do you understand that, if anytime you are in a conversation and someone mentions rape and you say "yeah but lots of women fantasise about being raped, you know!" that seems to imply something? if you need me to spell out what that implies, i really don't think i need to continue participating in this conversation about rape.

I didn't say "a lots", I didn't say any of this in this stupid suggestive way. You way twisted my words. Me and Janissy were talking abt the article, why don't go fight the author instead? She's the one who promoting the fantasy and passively justify it.
Starvist, yes you are a sexist to the bones, and a twising liar too, it shows so clearly in your posts, you just so desperatly nitpick words of posts posted by male members, neglecting others and twisting some just to portray a false imagine of this member.

if this is true as you say, then why haven't i been reported and banned, or warned by the moderators?

I dunno.
But probably for the same reason the obviously sexist males (ie. giftocurse?) don't get banned, I guess.

......or maybe your description of me and my behaviour are what is twisted in this conversation.
also, i don't always include the entire conversation with each post because the previous posts are already available for anyone following the thread to read, and i don't like giant-ass quote trees--and neither do the mods, for that matter. i have recently seen people warned for that very thing, and so i cut out the long trail of previous quotes and just specifically quote what i am answering with my post. if you see "twisting your words" as my motivation behind that, i can tell you i have a better idea of what my own motivations are than you do, as i am the one currently being me and living in my own head as i do, with myself. if you're present inside my head as well and privy to all my thoughts and emotions: i was not aware of your presence, i wish you would have announced yourself. it would be the polite thing to do.
as i said earlier, i know my own heart and mind better than you do.

Your twisting is in the:
"do you understand that, if anytime you are in a conversation and someone mentions rape and you say "yeah but lots of women fantasise about being raped, you know!" that seems to imply something? if you need me to spell out what that implies, i really don't think i need to continue participating in this conversation about rape. "
I dunno where you brought this s**t from.
and yes I strongly believe you selectively quoted my posts because you ignored the parts that debunk your false assumptions- I don't believe you, as simple as that.

i'll try not to be too devastated by you thinking that.
