Now there is a good outfit... for attracting some females.

That isn't a professional image for many professions, doctor, lawyer, police officer, teacher, accountant, military, civil servant or anyone in an authoritative position.

s**t this is all so overwhelming. I just don't know where to begin, because up to now I've never cared about clothes. I still don't, but I just wanna get more women to notice me. I don't even know how much to spend or if I can afford these clothes.

Charity shops, thrift shops, ebay or Primark. Looking good doesn't have to break the bank.

You don't have to break the bank to look nice. Just check out the websites of cheaper trendy brands such as H&M, Old Navy or Gap and find the look that you'd be comfortable in.
All you need is some plain shirts, thin cardigan or sweater, and straight-legged dark wash jeans or maybe corduroy pants But you need to make sure they all fit your body nicely.
AVOID pleated pants and baggy shirts.
Don't you have a female friend who would help you shop for clothes?

And? as I said it all depends on the type of female one wants to attract....I have no idea what the OPs preference is....but if they are a metal-head or even into punk they should wear that except with punk they'd have to put punk rather than metal patches on their vest. Of course if they also have a professional career with a dress code they should tone it down for work but when off work why stick to that look? If the OP is more of what you describe then they probably would not be into the females that sort of dress would attract and thus should not wear that.

Professionals should maintain a respectable appearance outside of their profession as they are a representation of that institution or corporation, there's nothing wrong with that appearance but you should maintain a respectable image outside of the work environment. You have to ask what type of image you want to promote, Brian isn't a biker and for him to dress like a biker would be detrimental.

It is much better to dress in a professional manner and if Brian wants to add a hipster vibe on top of that, that can be done easily. You can't go wrong with that and you can attract women at any age with a professional and sharp image.

Brian, just get one well tailored slim black suit to begin with.

old navy doesn't sell clothes in my size any more they use to but not anymore.
I have to wear baggy shrits. i'm a 2xl size but have to wear 3x-4x depending on the company to cover my gun. also I don't like people seeing my man boobs. (no one wants to see the outlines of my fat body anyways lol)

whats pleated pants?

my sister picked out my shirts, my pants are either khaki/tan or camo. i have some black jeans but they are uncomfortable.

Yeah sorry my post was intended to the OP specifically.

Brian you don't need a suit. No one wears a suit to a date. You just need some casual but tasteful geek-chic clothes.
And get a proper haircut by a female stylist. And a stylish pair of glasses makes a big difference too (you wear glasses don't you?)

He needs to come across as sharp, edgy and confident. If you think no one wears a suit to a date, you clearly haven't been taken to an upscale restaurant in the New York or London area.

Here's good advice.
http://www.artofmanliness.com/2011/05/2 ... irst-date/

So it depends on the area, venue and type of girl, an unbuttoned shirt, skinny black blazer with black skinny jeans works well but if you are going for professional, conservative women, go for a professional look.

By any means, stay away from converse shoes, they are for teenagers.

^ Have you ever seen his dating site profile? I have and he's not a "black skinny jeans" type. And he does not have a lot of money to spend on clothes, let alone taking a date to an upscale restaurant. Give more practical advice tailored to the OP.

I wouldn't dress differently to attract someone. That to me would be trying to be something that I'm not.

That's true, my advice was based on the assumption that Brian's taste in clothes is mainstream, hence my mainstream advice.

Would you have sex with both?

It's not a case of looking fine or acceptable, Brian needs to rise above the competition with the tons of other guys he is competing against at online dating. He can't risk coming across as needy or boring, he needs to come across as sharp and ready.
