So treat your AS symptoms and change everything for the better.
Why would that be better?

Or do as you've always done and get as you've always got.
No reason why this would be the case.
Patience is a virtue, and quality is always better than quantity. Even if some males think otherwise. In the end, they won't end up any happier with their quantity approach anyway.

From my experience, it's infinitely better. I'm happier, healthier, wealthier, no anxiety or depression, more productive, better coordination, balance, social skills - e v e r y t h i n g is better & I'm continuously improving myself and my lot in life in order to pursue my dreams and goals w/o ASD symptoms frustrating me and causing me to spin my wheels and not gain any traction. Like the gay cliche: It gets better.
Who said anything about quantity of life? I'm talking about quality of life.

From mine it is infinitely worse being NT.

Well, I'm successful and productive because of my neurodiversity traits, and I would be unsuccessful and unproductive without them just like other people I know are.

You better be because nobody ever gets fully competent as an NT, and they are never content with what they have but always needs to compare themselves with others and outcompete them. This is a never-ending circle you'll never get out of.

Me too. I have a great quality of life without being NT, and especially because I couldn't care less about what others do so I don't need to out-compete them.

I'm not NT and never will be. I don't care what others do - I want to be able to do what I want to do. Treating my ASD symptoms removes the negative hinderances of the condition and enables me to take action on my objectives while being happier and healthier all around. I don't need to out-compete "them," only myself - the only person I need to be better than is who I was yesterday. However, I'll admit.. it is a little fun being able to outdo others in various things, for sure. A little healthy competition never hurts anything. We do live in a competitive NT world, after al, and treating my symptoms has certainly made me significantly more competitive with mainstream society. Everything is just.. better. Life is good.
