That's a really good picture. It does make you look young.

I think it's strange to have a beard and be bald on top.

And here's me with short hair, that I'll probably go back to. I hate going to get my hair cut.

The second look is good on you. Is that what you think?

No love for the shades? I'm joking lol. Yeah, well the second look is easy to maintain. My hair is now thin in the front though, so I don't know how it'll look; probably fine. My grandmon thinks I look good with the what I like to refer to as the "Clark Kent" look. As in letting the hair in the front grow longer and combing it over to where you don't see the bald spots.

After seeing those photos I have to say the bald look can be attractive. Maybe you should give it a go OP :) at the worst your hair will always grow back if you don't like the look

Thanks. I'm thinking of going for the permanent stubble look.

It's a lot of work to maintain though and I haven't exactly learnt how to yet. All I can do is clean shave.

I never "criticized" bald or shaved heads, I just said it's a turn-off to me personally -- but I'm only one woman, I don't represent the whole of womankind. I'm also not a "child" or spoiled brat in my 20s -- I'm 54. I'm Bruce Willis' contemporary, but he's not attractive, to me.

That doesn't make me immature, a child, or a Justin Bieber fan. And if I ever did have "Daddy issues" it would be for a full head of hair --- because my father had thick hair right up to his death at 72.

Sorry you have to denigrate a female who doesn't like shaved heads by assuming she must be a kid with a Justin Bieber fixation. I'm a middle aged woman who just finds men with that look to remind me of bad things.

Stop trying to pick fights when there is no reason to. No one directed anything towards you, yet you are looking for an excuse to get angry. You don't know me, or what the area is like in which I live.

The stubble look kinda is hard if your Hunny has sensitive skin. You may not get as many smoochies.

Lol, it seemed to me YOU were the one "picking a fight" by saying insulting things about females who don't like the look. You may have been referring to your local girls but you framed your statements in a way that came across as "universal" as far as I read them.

And no I am not "looking for an excuse to get angry."
I even said in my first post I didn't mean to cause offence.

You're the one getting angry.

But your statements are stupid.

Sweeping generalizations about what mature women like or younger women like aren't smart. All "women" of any age groups aren't just all the same.

There are younger women who are attracted to the look. There are older women who aren't, and vice versa.

But nope, this is L&D isn't it......where people here think we're ALL the same.

Screw this thread, sorry I bothered. I even said in my post "NO OFFENCE TO ANYONE" who has a shaved head.

You don't want opinions or personal takes you just want everyone to agree with you. Have a nice life with that.

If it makes you feel any better, I think the vast majority of millennials are idiots; not just the female millennials. Also; Bye, Felicia.

Let's calm down guys clearly there was a misunderstanding. I can see where you are both coming from.

CommanderKeen you comment could be seen as a universal generalisation even though I no you didn't mean it in that way.

Birdin flight as a mature woman you should understand to dicuss things with people calmly before getting so.worked up. Sometimes people phrase things wrong or their comments are interpreted incorrectly.

Lets all get along and agree shave heads or heads of hair. What really matters is if they have a hairy chest mwahahaha ;) (joke guys)

You could try getting a buzz cut like the army ghas. Some women are attracted to army guys. Some women might even approach you asking if your in the army or something.

I didn't mean anything directed towards you either but I apologize. It's just my and Mr. Keen's opinion that younger women tend to be attracted to more effeminate looks in young men.

I absolutely agree with him as this is the case here as well.

Young boys and men are far more hygienic but to the point of using lots of hair gels, moisturizers and even makeup. They dress very effeminately. Think skinny jeans, over-stylized hair, clean-shaven faces, shin high socks, flat canvas shoes and pink v-neck t-shirts.

Aussie males these days probably put as much time and effort into their looks as some women do.

I am generalizing young Australian women, not Americans.

"If it makes you feel any better, I think the vast majority of millennials are idiots; not just the female millennials."

Yep. Over-aggressive leftist liberal SJW Feminist and male feminist with a 'one-size fits all' Socialistic western marxism attitude (ironically I AM a Socialist, but don't relate to most of them. I believe we must work together as a unified community despite our differences and all contribute in our own individual ways, other Socialists just want everyone and everything to be the same), overly-sensitive entitled young skinny-guy men with effiminate fashion taste and less masculine behavior (it's either hypermasculine bro here or effeminate sissy in a mixed sex group of friends of about 3 dudes, 5-7 females) (also, I'm ok with men becoming more effeminate, as long as they are not WEAK, but young men today seem to be. Feminine does not equal weak. I believe most women are feminine but STRONG and independent, if young men are going to be feminine they should still remain strong men. Also, I've noticied young men today are becoming more effeminate, but young women today aren't becoming more masculine to balance it out), over-reliance on the internet and an unfortunate rise in online dating, meaning even those who don't do online dating may pursue those who do use it, meaning if I pursue a woman who does online dating she's got probably 5 males on the backburner, I hate the fact they all love social media and texting so much, people are stuck to their phones, technology does not care about practicality but money ("they don't make 'em like they use to) as the average modern phone breaks at the drop of a hat and most websites and programs are becoming more and more difficult to use and impractical. People couldn't be anymore disconnected and anti-social from their world. No one cares of interaction in real life now as they can just meet people online. Women and young men are just stuck to their phones. I've seen young people out with family a the beach or nature just stuck on their screens. Forget looking at that big beautiful waterfall, I've got to update my status. Forget listening to it, I've got my earphones in. People don't have an appreciation for nature or the simpler things in life - hearing the birds cheep, or the gentle stream flow. Care for the environment is statistically at an all time low as millenials wouldn't care if our entire world was just technology.

The tech market is fast and aggressive and everything is constantly changing with no sight of settling down and stopping for a little while.

Politically we're all out our worse since god knows how long ago.

I sense political destruction in many western nations that were initially stable.

Australia has an unstable government as we constantly change prime ministers and all of them are frequently kicked out too early. Even so every candidate is bad, all worsen the debt and make the country worse. Don't even get me started on U.S.

Also, terrorism was an over-exaggerated problem in the Bush administration, but now it's a genuine problem. (controversial opinion, I know). Americas only ignited the flames of the war on terror.

The economy is going to cr*p both here and there.

I know some people say 'people have always thought teens and young adults are bad' but this is the first generation to grow up in a technological world which has extensive influence on the world and culture.

A couple of quotes seem to help

"If we can't laugh at ourselves, others will beat us to it."

&

God mad a few perfect heads, the other are covered with hair

&

If it don't apply let it fly.

The latter could be about hair gel or words coming my way.

What makes the biggest difference in whether you'll look good or not with a shaved head is not height or size, but bone structure. Here's a Finish poker player whom a lot find more attractive without hair:

It's all to do with facial aesthetics.

I'd say faces that are a combination of round and squary at the same time.

Not too round, but not too square/blocky.

This is typically a common occurance in black people facial genetics so naturally it is often well-suited to us.
