We don't know how Jamesy looks like, but all what we know that he got his nose damaged, we don't know how badly damaged it got. He claims that women lost interest in him after damaging his nose, wouldn't make sense then to advice him to surgically repair it?

maybe he'd be better off considering that he might not want to date someone who would be so shallow that they wouldn't date him based on his physical appearance, I'd say it's probably done him a favour.

yet again, trying to spread your negative views on others, like any of these nonsense reports exist for anything other than to satisfy a certain group of peoples need to put others down and justify their own distorted view of the world, there are arguments for everything, it comes down to kind of person you would want to date, everybody has different qualities they look for in a partner, but not everyone bases that upon physical appearance, not everybody thinks and feels the same way you do.. get over it.

All such studies on this matter show that humans are visual creatures; and that appearance (including face, body, height and hygiene), more or less, matter to vast majority of humans.

So get off your high horse and you get over it.

You can't include hygiene among the rest of those. Bad hygiene would be unhealthy, so it's not just a matter of appearance. Also, like you said, they matter more or less to people. To some looks matter a lot and that's their business. To some looks matter just a little and that's also their own business. And again, like you said, they matter to majority of humans. Even you are not saying all, you say majority, so what makes you think that Probably_Drunk couldn't be part of the small minority that they don't matter to?

The minority would be clinically blinds and asexuals.

If their personalities matched really well with mine then I don't see why not. Not exactly my ideas about good looking guys, but what I'm looking for in a partner has more to do with how he can please my mind and heart instead of my body and eyes. Not that I'm saying appearance doesn't matter to me at all, but it is rather irrelevant if someone, who was a perfect match to my personality, appeared.
