Extremely rich and successful actors make for poor examples in debates like this...

Also that guy is way above average, these debates are honestly quite hard to take seriously when we exclude having some sense of objective reality.

Let's create a group called BAM à la BBW way.

We are the BAMs...the "Beautiful Aspie Men".

Then we pose half nude on the internet, and we show great hate and contempt to the NT guys and call them ugly and slaves who conform to the tyranny of NTriarchy.

And we call any women who don't like our BAMiness (how dare them!) as shallow and Aspiephobics.

No because we are just talking strictly about physical appearances. This was merely the most convenient photo.

But if you prefer a no name example...

Here is a stock photo of a man.

Not ugly by any means but I don't find him attractive as far as dating goes. He's just not my type as far as I can tell from the photo. That might change should I encounter him in person though.

That guys quite good looking

I don’t get this as ugly is unattractive same as pretty is attractive.

If I say a woman’s unattractive it means I find her physical ugly. I’m just trying to be nice like most people do. I don’t get the whole I find him good looking but not attractive as that doesn’t compute
We aren’t talking personality traits etc but pure looks. So imagine the guy has perfect traits you like do you still think you’d Day he’s not ugly but I don’t find him attractive?

To me if a woman’s pretty I find her attractive and if she’s ugly I find her unattractive there’s no between. 95% of Women I find attractive aka pretty if I didn’t find them pretty they wouldn’t be attractive if I didn’t find them attractive I wouldn’t consider them pretty. Physical attraction is all wether you find hem handsom or ugly,
Or pretty or ugly it’s whether you’d be able to kiss them etc. if the answers no then you find them ugly. Doesn’t matter what society deems them you find them ugly.
Society is just what the majority of people find them. Some women find George Clooney ugly. Society named him one of the best looking men.

It seems you clearly don't like narrow jaws/chin, chronos, which conforms to our evolutionary theories of what women find attractive.

The two examples you posted have 'feminine' facial traits, I don't think it's a coincidence.

Now let's go back to eat bananas.

You conclude that from a sample size of 2. I don't think that would get you a passing grade in a stats class.

Well that's the only thing in common between these 2 guys, other than the the white pale skin - so it's easy to conclude what you don't like, and therefore you wouldn't like 200000 guys who have this trait either.

I want a Nutella with banana slices sandwich.

And Chronos, since you want to talk stats, we should also talk about the probability also ....stats are not just surveys and sampling, you know the famous 'Nb of Favorable Outcomes / Total Nb of Possible Outcomes'.

In your case it would be 'Nb of men with this specific facial trait 'Narrow jaws' who fall in appropriate age for you / Total facial variations in men you don't like who fall in the appropriate age for you.

The denominator's exact value is impossible to determine since there are probably hundreds of striking facial variations you may not like? So we don't know, but let's assume it's quite a large number, in dozens or maybe even in hundreds.

Now, Miss Chronos, what are the chances, that two picks in a row of men you don't find unattractive, to share a one same facial trait out of all the guys population? (narrow jaws, there's the white skin too but I dismiss that for now).

The first pick would be 100% , chance of picking any guy you don't like with any facial trait since no trait was not specified beforehand, the second pick however would be:

1/<Large Number>

That small number represents the chance that both of them may have been coincidentally having narrow jaws and you weren't biased against narrow jaws.

and that would be a very very small percentage number :nerdy:

"Ugly" is the extreme form of "unattractive."

Most people who are "unattractive" are not "ugly."

I am not "ugly" one bit---but many women have found me "unattractive."

You are not "ugly," Sly, either.

A bum in the street frequently is "ugly." You don't look like a bum in the street.

I really should emphasize that most homeless people are not “bums in the street.”

I really think ugly has more to do with personality and attitude than physical appearance, personally.
Someone might be very unattractive, but an absolutely beautiful person. Or they might be very attractive, but ugly inside.
I think it's important to separate those descriptive terms, one set is basically superficial and the other isn't. Good to know which is which.

I find Brad Pitt attractive BUT am not attracted to him. I am very attracted to the short and less attractive Robert Downey, Jr. I have been attracted to guys I think are ugly, like my math professor. Looks mean less when you get to know someone, obviously. I like short guys better. I also prefer a guy who's less pretty than I am. I prefer dark hair and love hazel eyes. If a guy is sweet and good to me, looks mean very little.
