I would gladly make more fun of myself, but since it involves another person, I am somewhat reluctant to write about details. What I can say that it was a table full of numbers, and the result was a probability that my friend wanted to be my girlfriend. :D

As in being a tease?

What about a ficticious, hypotherical example?

Oh yes, do it about me! I want to know if I'd make the perfect girlfriend! Those online test things always tell me I am!

 i may be one a rare breed but i like the fact that my bf doesn't buy me gifts every five minutes to prove his love to me, i think that if yoiu are in a relationship with someone you truely love you shouldn't have to prove it to them by getting the stuff the quite frankly don't need.
I have bad hayfever so flowers are useless cos i'll end up crying and sneezing all the time.

when i do get gifts its usually useful stuff that i'm involved in choosing.

I like the fact that both of us are comfortable enough to not have to go into the spontanious gift giving.
Ok thats my little speech over!!

Baby

It's rather silly really! I'm all for gifting, but on the 'token' level, such as fresh flowers picked from your back yard, or homemade cookies, or cheese, or a card, or a pirated cd (I know I know I'm evil! ): it honestly doesn't need to exceed $10, and often doesn't cost at all! *shrugs* It's the little things that count; save diamonds for your engagement!

Relationships are commonly all about give and take. Or give and get...

I don't see anything wrong with giving gifts, even to family members who have unconditional love for me. Not so much for their benefit, but for my own benefit, and I love their reactions. :)

I've tried giving gifts to pets... But it doesn't quite have the same effect... :?:

My Dad isn't that big on giving gifts on the standard gift giving occasions, but he does randomly come home and give my Mum some flowers he bought, or something similar; completely random out of the blue. That's how it should be done I think.

Aww! Your dad is so cute! Hehe, and poor you with the pets: they just aren't so appreciative, are they?
