If I recall right, he made way more than 3 threads per day, this is a rule violation, but he got warned and said sorry he won’t make more threads. Also the type of questions he asked triggered some people like Fnord who made very aggressive reactions to his questions. But I don’t recall him using any specific “incel terms” (I’ve learned from mods here they use terms such as Chads for hot guys).

If I recall right, Kitty did exactly such thread-spamming and also generalization questions such “Do men like this?”, “Do men do that?”... etc but she got just a warning and no ban.

Oh Well. Maybe colossal did something we don’t know about.

"behavior intended to provoke or belittle other members"

A new user who spams the forum and trolls for a reaction by putting forward many contraversial views in a short amount of time is a big clue.

So is newbiety (sp?) a factor for the ban then? If a member with years of presence heree suddenly starts to spam and create such controversial threads, would he be dealt with differently?

That just doesn't seem like what he was doing to me. I think he was in genuine distress about his chronic single status and he probably doesn't have much else to do or much else going for him. I agree that he made too many threads but again surely that only requires a warning and then a ban if he persists with the behaviour. Also, the only controversial thing I recall him saying was about preferring an abusive relationship to no relationship.

The one who was banned created a thread on an incel forum and said he was planning on “dropping blackpills” here, and would be posting a lot so people here would think he was a “legit user.” In the same thread, some posts from here were being mocked and people were saying they should all join and start trolling. They said horrible things about the Wrong Planet mods and members.

Thanks for the clarification. How did you find all this out though? How did you find out about this person saying horrible things about mods and members and trying to get others to troll the site?

I am curious though, how do you know this though? How did you figure that this one and colossal are the same person?

Was the timing of that thread in the other forum created around the same time of colossal’s thread-spamming? Was that one taking screenshots of colossal’s threads telling them thet he’s behind these? If yes then that may explain it, so probably he wasn’t using incel terms to pass more like a normal lonely guy.

I don’t think it’s wise to taint your IP by regulary visiting their forums btw.

You’re welcome. :) Someone from a forum I go on found out that an unlisted YouTube video of herself that she posted was receiving traffic from the incel forum, so I searched through the forum and check it everyday to see if anything else has been posted. That was when I saw the thread about Wrong Planet. I let the mods here know, and they have seen the thread.

The join date and the fact that another member posted a screenshot of a post he made and asked “Who Is This?” confirmed it was him because he replied to their post with “Me.”

Okay, that clears a few things up and makes more sense now. Thanks again

So it’s a official rule now?
Is thst why the 20 trump threads a day by one user finally seems to stopped?

Hmm, good finding, It would have been better if you clarified this through a PM, or better through the mods.

Since they’re probably watching this thread by now, then you’re risking of being their next trolling target. Maybe the mods should change your display name.

I find it odd, it’d be like me going to a anti trump support forum or a anti autism forum.
But each their own.

As long as it’s enofrced equally. Which has been an issue with other rules.

I only check it to try to find out who shared photos from a forum I’m a moderator on so they can be banned if I recognise them. I know it’s a member because guests can’t see the photo section. It’s not because I’m interested in incels (I’m not).
