I'm guessing my looks actually don't have much to do with being misunderstood as an emotionless robot.

The stereotype about me basically says that I wouldn't seem to mind spending my entire life alone. Everyone buys it.

Didn't you post a picture a while back? Did you have long blond hair with flags behind you if I recall? I browsed through the thread where we post pictures of ourselves.

If I am mistaken, then you should post a pic when you are ready. I have a feeling you are lovely both inside and out.

Looks notwithstanding I'm really wondering if it was chivalrous stuff I missed or if being kind made women suspicious.

People wrongly see ulterior motives in me all the time.

It's like I'm too different to be good for anyone else.

Finding the right lady. Not easy, but life is odd as when one least expects it, one comes along who is just right...

But one may need to date several to find the right one. I have not done much dating. I started when I was about 35.

Part of the problem no doubt is that being me makes it hard to trust anyone. I'm not here only as an ego boost for women chasing other guys but that's how they've treated me. There's this whole "sex positivity" thing that's pretty much exclusive to NT majority people without much to complain about, whereas my sexuality is a joke where our culture is concerned. The whole society is based on sexually disrespecting everyone. It's nauseating.

Mind you it's sexism I'm taking issue with, not so much celibacy. Why should I even care about some social milestone when my social life is meaningless to most people anyway? I don't want to loose touch with everyone but I would like to wake people up from this mutually demeaning stupor.

Realistically I'm doing alright in relative terms, I'm just here wishing I knew what to say too, I'm not trying to bum anyone out.

My professional life is taking off but no one's interested in sharing 2 minutes of it. Just talking to folks here is great actually. I think everyone needs to be more direct about these issues. NTs have all kinds of similar troubles but we never get the chance to clear the air.
