Would you date a criminal (a person having a record)?

Plain and simple: No, hell no!

A criminal is a criminal. If they get caught eating a corpse or smoking a joint, it's still a crime. And once a criminal, always a criminal. Besides, all pot smokers I once knew were garbage! They'd get high and start treating me like I'm subhuman, mocking me and getting a rise out of me. So the more of them rot in prison, and the longer, the better.

Arizona once made pot possession a felony, and put people in prison for a year for it. I really miss those days!

Or, had you been alive a hundred years ago, drinking alcoholic beverages during Prohibition?

Besides, scamdemic lockdowns aren't laws. They were never presented as bills, voted on, or signed. No law = no crime.

True. This question is too vauge. For example Biden just pardoned people who were convicted only for simple possession of pot. Same with several known celebrities (actors, singers, models, etc.) too. Like Mel Gibson, I think Bruce Willis (at least a misdemeanor for talking back to a cop at one point), and certain rappers like Cardi B and 50 Cent were notorious for it. It still doesn't change their positive public image more dramatically.

Good point!

The action is what matters - not if someone was or wasn’t caught. Disobeying social distancing laws during COVID lockdown is worse than smoking weed because it was putting others at risk. Weed should be legalized in the US.

It depends on what the criminal record is. If it's something like a murder then I'd probably steer clear because there's something about murderers that I don't trust, unless they only murdered when under the influence of drugs or alcohol, but I wouldn't date them if they still took drugs or alcohol that affected their behaviour. But murders, especially when done without being under the influence, is a very big deal and is not something that any person in their right mind would do, so if a person has murdered before, chances are they could murder again.

I think murder and other violent crimes get their own category apart from "having a record", unless of course the person offed someone in self-defence or it was a home intruder etc. -- in places where we're allowed to kill home intruders.
