When I was official tested for autism I was told I had Aspergers Personality that was due to having Schizoid Personality Disorder instead of anything on the autism spectrum. My paperwork stated that as well in a very roundabout way 
I had recently had a mental breakdown when my first relationship fell apart & I majorly hated being alone. I briefly joined a forum for Schizoid Personality Disorder & most of the posters seemed like bitter hateful people. Given the choice I think I'd rather have lower functioning classic autism. The type that have caretakers & generally seem happy.
