Yep. Nice guys finish last. Its pretty much a fact of life. But really Aspie1, you've got as much right as anyone else to be as picky as you see fit.

Did it occur to you that not all of my interactions and relationships with women are sexual? That in fact I dont see all women as just sex objects.

You've obviously never seen the show "Nice Guys Finish First"

Nice Guys Finish First (BBC Horizon television series) is a 1987 documentary by Richard Dawkins which discusses selfishness and cooperation, focusing especially on the tit for tat strategy of the prisoner's dilemma game.

Not all men are pigs, anymore than all women are hysterical b*****s.

While there are women that go for a jerk thinking he's not, there are plenty of women that go for jerks knwoing perfectly well what they're like - women in this latter category deserve all they get in my view, just as men who go for a psycho knowing what she's like deserve everything they get. Given that men are the intitiators, and women choose whether to accept or reject these advances, women who accept a jerk should not blame ALL men for their mistake, if they were deceived, and if they knew what he was like they have only themselves to blame. Consider too that the successses of jerks send the message to men that they're wasting their time if they're being nice. It also makes men lose some respect for women - I do not respect women that have the emotional maturity of a she-wolf, some men, after seeing enough women go for the jerks, lose respect for all womankind. It is unfair on the sensible women, of course, but is it worse than a woman saying all men are pigs?

Very nicely stated.

I think man-bashing is ego-motivated. Most women won't admit to themselves that they were using a guy's phony flattery to boost their own self-esteem, so they're more comfortable seeing themselves as victims when they're dumped. I'm not sure where most women get the idea that they're above being selfish a-holes. It's completely hypocritical.

I think that young american women have waaaaay to much social leeway. They think that being female means that dont have to be responsible for their actions. I want women everywhere to understand:

Just because you are female does not automatically make you a 'victim'!Also-I said it before, and I'll say it again-Women may think that their being female entitles them to social priviledges that men dont get to have but I do not recognize their sense of entitlement! In fact, this has nothing to do with my or anyone elses sex life.If go around man-bashing, Im gonna go around woman-bashing :D . Pontificating falsely that Im sexually frustrated is not going get me to shut up, just so you know.
