Hehe. I believe you. But there is classically "no nice way" for a girl to shoot down a guy's interest in her, no matter how nice she is about it.
And I think the reverse is true as well. It's hard to communicate turning down either gender without the dreaded "REJECTION" word flashing across their minds, however briefly. I've learned how to bounce back pretty well though, myself.

no, he outted me as an aspie to the world.... cause he mentioned his school and then what i was doing (at his school, as i do go there)...
